1 Chronicles

1These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

2Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah, which three were born to him of Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the LORD’ssight; and he killed him.

4Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

5The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.

6The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara—five of them in all.

7The son of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.

8The son of Ethan: Azariah.

9The sons also of Hezron, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.

10Ram became the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

11and Nahshon became the father of Salma, and Salma became the father of Boaz,

12and Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;

13and Jesse became the father of his firstborn Eliab, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,

14Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh;

16and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three.

17Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

18Caleb the son of Hezron became the father of children by Azubah his wife, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

19Azubah died, and Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.

20Hur became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezalel.

21Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he took as wife when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.

22Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

23Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and its villages, even sixty cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

24After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah, Hezron’s wife, bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

25The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

26Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah. She was the mother of Onam.

27The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

29The name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban and Molid.

30The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; but Seled died without children.

31The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.

32The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.

33The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34Now Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters. Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

35Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife; and she bore him Attai.

36Attai became the father of Nathan, and Nathan became the father of Zabad,

37and Zabad became the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal became the father of Obed,

38and Obed became the father of Jehu, and Jehu became the father of Azariah,

39and Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah,

40and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,

41and Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.

42The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

44Shema became the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem became the father of Shammai.

45The son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.

46Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.

47The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jothan, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

48Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

49She bore also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

50These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim,

51Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth Gader.

52Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.

53The families of Kiriath Jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; from them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.

54The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.

55The families of scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.

1Đây là các con ông Ít-ra-en : Rưu-vên, Si-mê-ôn, Lê-vi, Giu-đa, Ít-xa-kha, Dơ-vu-lun,

2Đan, Giu-se, Ben-gia-min, Náp-ta-li, Gát, A-se.

3Các con ông Giu-đa : E, Ô-nan, Sê-la ; cả ba đều là con ông, do bà Bát Su-a người Ca-na-an sinh ra. Ông E, con đầu lòng ông Giu-đa, làm mất lòng ĐỨC CHÚA, nên Người khiến ông chết.

4Bà Ta-ma, con dâu ông Giu-đa, sinh cho ông này Pe-rét và De-rác. Ông Giu-đa có tất cả năm người con.

5Các con của ông Pe-rét là Khét-rôn và Kha-mun.

6Các con của ông De-rác là : Dim-ri, Ê-than, Hê-man, Can-côn, Đa-ra, tất cả là năm người.

7Con của ông Các-mi là A-kha, kẻ gây tai hoạ cho Ít-ra-en, vì đã vi phạm luật biệt hiến.

8Con của ông Ê-than là A-dác-gia.

9Các con của ông Khét-rôn, những người đã được sinh ra cho ông : Giơ-rác-mơ-ên, Ram, Cơ-lu-vai.

10Ram sinh Am-mi-na-đáp, Am-mi-na-đáp sinh Nác-sôn, thủ lãnh con cái ông Giu-đa.

11Nác-sôn sinh Xan-ma, Xan-ma sinh Bô-át.

12Bô-át sinh Ô-vết, Ô-vết sinh Gie-sê.

13Gie-sê sinh con đầu lòng là Ê-li-áp, con thứ là A-vi-na-đáp, và Sim-a là thứ ba,

14Nơ-than-ên thứ tư, Rát-đai thứ năm,

15Ô-xem thứ sáu, Đa-vít thứ bảy.

16Chị em gái của họ là Xơ-ru-gia và A-vi-ga-gin. Các con của bà Xơ-ru-gia có ba người là Áp-sai, Giô-áp, A-xa-hên.

17Bà A-vi-ga-gin sinh A-ma-xa, cha của A-ma-xa là Gie-the, người Ít-ma-ên.

18Ông Ca-lếp, con ông Khét-rôn, cùng vợ là bà A-du-va sinh ra ông Giơ-ri-ốt. Đây là các con của bà : Giê-se, Sô-váp, Ác-đôn.

19Bà A-du-va chết, ông Ca-lếp cưới bà Ép-rát, và bà này sinh ra cho ông người con tên là Khua.

20Khua sinh U-ri, U-ri sinh Bơ-xan-ên.

21Sau đó ông Khét-rôn đến với con gái ông Ma-khia, cha ông Ga-la-át. Khi cưới bà, ông đã sáu mươi tuổi, và bà sinh ra Xơ-gúp cho ông.

22Xơ-gúp sinh Gia-ia ; ông này có tới hai mươi ba thành trong xứ Ga-la-át.

23Nhưng Gơ-sua và A-ram chiếm mất của họ các thôn làng thuộc Gia-ia, Cơ-nát và các nơi phụ cận là sáu mươi thành. Tất cả những người đó đều là con cháu ông Ma-khia, cha ông Ga-la-át.

24Sau khi ông Khét-rôn chết, thì ông Ca-lếp lại kết hôn với bà Ép-ra-tha, vợ goá của ông Khét-rôn cha mình. Bà đã sinh ra cho ông người con tên là Át-khua, cha của ông Tơ-cô-a.

25Các con của ông Giơ-rác-mơ-ên, con đầu lòng của ông Khét-rôn, là : Ram, con đầu lòng, rồi Bu-na, Ô-ren, Ô-xem, A-khi-gia.

26Ông Giơ-rác-mơ-ên có một người vợ khác tên là A-ta-ra, đó là mẹ của ông Ô-nam.

27Các con của ông Ram, con đầu lòng của ông Giơ-rác-mơ-ên, là : Ma-át, Gia-min, Ê-ke.

28Các con của ông Ô-nam là : Sam-mai và Gia-đa. Các con của ông Sam-mai là Na-đáp và A-vi-sua.

29Tên người vợ của ông A-vi-sua là A-vi-kha-gin. Bà này sinh ra Ác-ban và Mô-lít cho ông.

30Các con của ông Na-đáp là Xe-lét và Áp-pa-gim. Ông Xe-lét chết mà không có con.

31Con của ông Áp-pa-gim là Gít-i ; con của ông Gít-i là Sê-san ; con của ông Sê-san là Ác-lai.

32Các con của ông Gia-đa, em của ông Sam-mai, là Gie-the và Giô-na-than. Ông Gie-the chết mà không có con.

33Các con của ông Giô-na-than là Pe-lét và Da-da. Đó là con cháu của ông Giơ-rác-mơ-ên.

34Ông Sê-san không có con trai, chỉ có con gái. Ông có người đầy tớ Ai-cập tên là Giác-kha.

35Ông Sê-san gả con gái cho anh đầy tớ làm vợ. Bà này sinh ra Át-tai cho ông.

36Ông Át-tai sinh Na-than, Na-than sinh Da-vát,

37Da-vát sinh Ép-lan, Ép-lan sinh Ô-vết,

38Ô-vết sinh Giê-hu, Giê-hu sinh A-dác-gia,

39A-dác-gia sinh Khe-lét, Khe-lét sinh En-a-xa,

40En-a-xa sinh Xít-mai, Xít-mai sinh Sa-lum,

41Sa-lum sinh Giơ-cam-gia, Giơ-cam-gia sinh Ê-li-sa-ma.

42Các con của ông Ca-lếp, em ông Giơ-rác-mơ-ên, là Mê-sa, con đầu lòng (ông này là cha của ông Díp) và Ma-rê-sa, cha ông Khép-rôn.

43Các con của ông Khép-rôn là Cô-rắc, Táp-pu-ác, Re-kem, Se-ma.

44Ông Se-ma sinh Ra-kham, cha của Gióc-cơ-am. Ông Re-kem sinh Sam-mai.

45Con của ông Sam-mai là Ma-ôn, cha của Bết Xua.

46Bà Ê-pha, tỳ thiếp của ông Ca-lếp, sinh Kha-ran, Mô-xa, Ga-dết. Ông Kha-ran sinh Ga-dết.

47Các con của ông Gia-đai là Re-ghem, Giô-tham, Ghê-san, Pe-lét, Ê-pha, Sa-áp.

48Bà Ma-a-kha, tỳ thiếp của ông Ca-lếp sinh Se-ve và Tia-kha-na.

49Con gái của ông Ca-lếp là Ác-xa.

50Các con của ông Khua, con đầu lòng của bà Ép-ra-tha, là : Sô-van, cha của Kia-giát Giơ-a-rim,

51Xan-ma, cha của Bê-lem, Kha-rép, cha của Bết Ga-đe.

52Ông Sô-van, cha của Kia-giát Giơ-a-rim, có những người con sau đây : ông Ha-rô-e, một nửa dân Ma-na-khát,

53các thị tộc Kia-giát Giơ-a-rim, dân Gít-ri, dân Pút, dân Su-ma, dân Mít-ra. Từ các người ấy đã phát xuất ra các dân Xo-rơ-a và Ét-ta-ôn.

54Các con của ông Xan-ma là : ông Bê-lem, dân Nơ-tô-pha, ông Át-rốt Bết Giô-áp, một nửa dân Ma-na-khát nữa, dân Xo-rơ-a.

55Các thị tộc người Xô-phơ-rim cư ngụ tại Gia-bết là : Tia-a, Sim-a, Xu-kha. Đó là những người Kê-ni xuất thân từ Kham-mát, tổ phụ của gia đình Rê-kháp.
