Isaiah

1Trong ngày ấy, có rất ít người nam sót lại nên bảy người nữ tranh giành một người nam, và nói: “Hãy cưới tất cả chúng tôi! Chúng tôi sẽ tự lo thực phẩm và quần áo. Chỉ xin cho chúng tôi mang tên họ chàng, để chúng tôi khỏi bị hổ nhục.”

2Nhưng trong ngày ấy, chồi của Chúa Hằng Hữusẽ đẹp đẽ và vinh quang;và hoa quả của đất sẽ là niềm hãnh diện và vinh quangcủa những người sống sót trong Ít-ra-ên.

3Những ai còn lại trong Si-ônsẽ được gọi là thánh—tức những người sống sót sau cuộc tàn phá Giê-ru-sa-lemvà được ghi vào danh sách giữa vòng người sống.

4Chúa sẽ chùi rửa nhơ nhuốc của Si-ôn xinh đẹpvà sẽ làm sạch vết máu tại Giê-ru-sa-lem bằng hơi nóng thiêu cháy của thần xét xử.

5Rồi Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ tạo bóng râm trên Núi Si-ônvà trên hội chúng tụ họp tại đó.Ngài sẽ tạo một màn mây che suốt ngàyvà một ngọn lửa sáng ngời ban đêm, bao trùm trên khắp đất vinh quang.

6Nó sẽ là một chiếc trại che nắng nóng ban ngàyvà là nơi trú ẩn để tránh bão táp mưa to.

1And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

2In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

3And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

4When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

5And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

6And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
