1ĐỨC CHÚA phán với ông Mô-sê rằng :

2“Hãy truyền cho A-ha-ron và các con nó : Đây là luật về lễ toàn thiêu. Lễ vật toàn thiêu phải ở trên lò trên bàn thờ suốt đêm cho đến sáng, và lửa phải cháy luôn trên bàn thờ.

3Tư tế sẽ mặc áo vải gai và mặc quần đùi vải gai che mình ; nó sẽ hốt tro lễ toàn thiêu mà lửa đã đốt trên bàn thờ, và đổ bên cạnh bàn thờ.

4Nó sẽ cởi phẩm phục ra, mặc phẩm phục khác vào, rồi đưa tro ra ngoài trại, ở một nơi thanh sạch.

5Lửa trên bàn thờ phải cháy luôn không tắt : sáng sáng, tư tế sẽ đốt củi trên đó, xếp lễ vật toàn thiêu lên trên và đốt mỡ của lễ vật kỳ an.

6Lửa phải thường xuyên cháy trên bàn thờ, không bao giờ tắt.

7Các con A-ha-ron phải tiến dâng lễ phẩm trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA, đối diện với bàn thờ.

8Từ lễ phẩm đó, tư tế sẽ trích ra một nắm tinh bột, dầu và tất cả nhũ hương ở trên lễ phẩm, rồi đốt cho cháy nghi ngút trên bàn thờ, thành hương thơm làm vui lòng ĐỨC CHÚA, đó là phần kỷ vật dành cho ĐỨC CHÚA.

9Phần còn lại của lễ phẩm thì A-ha-ron và các con sẽ được ăn ; phần đó sẽ được làm thành bánh không men và ăn trong một nơi thánh ; chúng sẽ ăn nó tại khuôn viên Lều Hội Ngộ.

10Phần đó không được trộn men mà nướng. Đó là phần Ta ban cho chúng từ các lễ hoả tế dâng cho Ta ; đó là của rất thánh, giống như lễ tạ tội và lễ đền tội.

11Mọi đàn ông con trai trong các con A-ha-ron sẽ được ăn phần ấy ; đó là quy luật vĩnh viễn cho các thế hệ của các ngươi, trong những lễ hoả tế dâng ĐỨC CHÚA ; tất cả những gì chạm đến các vật ấy sẽ được thánh hiến.”

12ĐỨC CHÚA phán với ông Mô-sê rằng :

13“Đây là lễ tiến mà A-ha-ron và các con sẽ dâng lên ĐỨC CHÚA ngày được xức dầu tấn phong ; bốn lít rưỡi tinh bột làm lễ phẩm thường xuyên, một nửa ban sáng và một nửa ban chiều.

14Lễ phẩm ấy sẽ được chiên trên chảo, với dầu. Sau khi trộn kỹ, ngươi sẽ đem dâng lễ phẩm ấy là bánh đã bẻ thành miếng : đó là hương thơm làm vui lòng ĐỨC CHÚA.

15Trong số các con A-ha-ron, tư tế được xức dầu tấn phong để kế vị nó, cũng sẽ làm như thế : đó là quy luật vĩnh viễn. Lễ phẩm sẽ được đốt trọn vẹn cho cháy nghi ngút dâng ĐỨC CHÚA.

16Mọi lễ phẩm của tư tế phải được dâng trọn vẹn, không được ăn.”

17ĐỨC CHÚA phán với ông Mô-sê rằng :

18Lễ vật tạ tội phải được sát tế ở nơi sát tế lễ vật toàn thiêu, trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA. Đó là của rất thánh.

19Tư tế cử hành lễ tạ tội được ăn lễ vật đó ; lễ vật sẽ được ăn trong một nơi thánh, trong khuôn viên Lều Hội Ngộ,

20tất cả những gì chạm đến thịt lễ vật sẽ được thánh hiến ; nếu có máu bắn vào quần áo, thì ngươi phải giặt chỗ có máu bắn vào, trong một nơi thánh.

21Nồi đất đã dùng để nấu lễ vật sẽ phải đập vỡ, còn nếu nó đã được nấu trong nồi đồng, thì nồi đó phải được cọ sạch và rửa bằng nước.

22Mọi đàn ông con trai thuộc hàng tư tế sẽ được ăn : đó là của rất thánh.

23Nhưng mọi lễ vật tạ tội mà máu đã được mang vào Lều Hội Ngộ để cử hành lễ xá tội trong nơi thánh, thì không được ăn ; lễ vật đó phải bỏ vào lửa mà thiêu.

1The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

2Whosoever shall sin, and despising the Lord, shall deny to his neighbour the thing delivered to his keeping, which was committed to his trust; or shall by force extort any thing, or commit oppression;

3Or shall find a thing lost, and denying it, shall also swear falsely, or shall do any other of the many things, wherein men are wont to sin:

4Being convicted of the offence, he shall restore

5All that he would have gotten by fraud, in the principal, and the fifth part besides to the owner, whom he wronged.

6Moreover for his sin he shall offer a ram without blemish out of the flock, and shall give it to the priest, according to the estimation and measure of the offence:

7And he shall pray for him before the Lord, and he shall have forgiveness for every thing in doing of which he hath sinned.

8And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

9Command Aaron and his sons: This is the law of a holocaust: It shall be burnt upon the altar, all night until morning: the fire shall be of the same altar.

10The priest shall be vested with the tunick and the linen breeches, and he shall take up the ashes of that which the devouring fire hath burnt, and putting them beside the altar,

11Shall put off his former vestments, and being clothed with others, shall carry them forth without the camp, and shall cause them to be consumed to dust in a very clean place,

12And the fire on the altar shall always burn, and the priest shall feed it, putting wood on it every day in the morning, and laying on the holocaust, shall burn thereupon the fat of the peace offerings.

13This is the perpetual fire which shall never go out on the altar.

14This is the law of the sacrifice and libations, which the children of Aaron shall offer before the Lord, and before the altar.

15The priest shall take a handful of the flour that is tempered with oil, and all the frankincense that is put upon the flour: and he shall burn it on the altar for a memorial of most sweet odour to the Lord:

16And the part of the flour that is left, Aaron and his sons shall eat, without leaven: and he shall eat it in the holy place of the court of the tabernacle.

17And therefore it shall not be leavened, because part thereof is offered for the burnt sacrifice of the Lord. It shall be most holy, as that which is offered for sin and for trespass.

18The males only of the race of Aaron shall eat it. It shall be an ordinance everlasting in your generations concerning the sacrifices of the Lord: Every one that toucheth them shall be sanctified.

19And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

20This is the oblation of Aaron, and of his sons, which they must offer to the Lord, in the day of their anointing: They shall offer the tenth part of an ephi of flour for a perpetual sacrifice, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening:

21It shall be tempered with oil, and shall be fried in a fryingpan.

22And the priest that rightfully succeedeth his father, shall offer it hot, for a most sweet odour to the Lord, and it shall be wholly burnt on the altar.

23For every sacrifice of the priest shall be consumed with fire, neither shall any man eat thereof.

24And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

25Say to Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the victim for sin: in the place where the holocaust is offered, it shall be immolated before the Lord. It is holy of holies.

26The priest that offereth it, shall eat it in a holy place, in the court of the tabernacle.

27Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof, shall be sanctified. If a garment be sprinkled with the blood thereof, it shall be washed in a holy place.

28And the earthen vessel, wherein it was sodden, shall be broken, but if the vessel be of brass, it shall be scoured, and washed with water.

29Every male of the priestly race shall eat of the flesh thereof, because it is holy of holies.

30For the victim that is slain for sin, the blood of which is carried into the tabernacle of the testimony to make atonement in the sanctuary, shall not be eaten, but shall be burnt with fire.
