Psalms

1For the sons of Core, a psalm of a canticle. The foundations thereof are in the holy mountains:

2The Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.

3Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God.

4I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians, these were there.

5Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.

6The Lord shall tell in his writings of peoples and of princes, of them that have been in her.

7The dwelling in thee is as it were of all rejoicing.

1vì thân con nghèo hèn túng quẫn.

2Chính Ngài là Thiên Chúa của con.

3con kêu con gọi Chúa suốt ngày.

4vì con nâng tâm hồn lên tới Chúa.

5giàu tình thương với mọi kẻ kêu xin ;

6tiếng con van nài, xin để ý lưu tâm.

7vì Chúa vẫn đáp lời.

8việc Ngài làm, quả thật vô song.

9sẽ về phủ phục trước Thánh Nhan, và tôn vinh danh Ngài.

10chỉ một mình Ngài là Thiên Chúa.

11để con biết một niềm kính tôn Danh Thánh.

12Thánh danh Ngài, con mãi mãi tôn vinh,

13Ngài đã kéo con ra khỏi vực thẳm âm ty.

14chúng đâu có kể chi đến Ngài.

15Ngài chậm giận, lại giàu tình thương và lòng thành tín.

16cho tôi tớ Ngài đây, con của nữ tỳ Ngài.

17vì, lạy CHÚA, chính Ngài giúp đỡ ủi an con.
