1Ha-lê-lu-gia! Hãy ngợi khen danh Đức Giê-hô-va: Hỡi các tôi tớ Đức Giê-hô-va,

2Là kẻ đứng trong nhà Đức Giê-hô-va, Tại hành lang của nhà Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta, hãy ngợi khen Ngài!

3Hãy ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va, vì Đức Giê-hô-va là thiện; Khá hát ngợi khen danh Ngài, vì ấy là vui.

4Vì Đức Giê-hô-va đã chọn Gia-cốp cho mình, Lấy Y-sơ-ra-ên làm cơ nghiệp riêng của Ngài.

5Tôi biết rằng Đức Giê-hô-va là lớn, Chúa chúng tôi trổi cao hơn hết các thần.

6Điều nào đẹp ý Đức Giê-hô-va làm, Ngài bèn làm điều nấy, Hoặc trên trời, dưới đất, Trong biển, hay là trong các vực sâu.

7Ngài khiến mây bay lên từ nơi cùng-đầu đất, Làm chớp-nhoáng theo mưa, Khiến gió ra từ các kho tàng của Ngài.

8Ngài đánh giết các con đầu lòng xứ Ê-díp-tô, Từ loài người cho đến loài thú vật;

9Sai đến giữa Ê-díp-tô những dấu k” phép lạ Hại Pha-ra-ôn và hết thảy các tôi tớ người;

10Cũng đánh bại lắm dân tộc lớn, Và giết các vua mạnh mẽ,

11Từc là Si-hôn, Vua dân A-mô-rít, Oùc, vua Ba-san, Và hết thảy vua xứ Ca-na-an.

12Ngài ban xứ chúng nó làm sản nghiệp Cho Y-sơ-ra-ên, là dân sự Ngài.

13Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, danh Ngài còn đến đời đời; Kỷ niệm Ngài trải qua đời nầy đến đời kia.

14Vì Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ đoán xét dân sự Ngài, Và đổi ý về việc những kẻ tôi tớ Ngài.

15Hình tượng của các dân bằng bạc và bằng vàng, Là công việc tay loài người làm ra.

16Hình tượng có miệng mà không nói, Có mắt mà chẳng thấy,

17Có tai mà không nghe, Và miệng nó không hơi thở.

18Phàm kẻ nào làm hình tượng, và nhờ cậy nơi nó, Đều giống như nó.

19Hỡi nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, hãy chúc tụng Đức Giê-hô-va! Hỡi nhà A-rôn, hãy chúc tụng Đức Giê-hô-va!

20Hỡi nhà Lê-vi, hãy chúc tụng Đức Giê-hô-va! Hỡi các người kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va, khá chúc tụng Đức Giê-hô-va!

21Đáng từ Si-ôn chúc tụng Đức Giê-hô-va, Là Đấng ngự tại Giê-ru-sa-lem! Ha-lê-lu-gia!

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.

2Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

3Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

4For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

5For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

6Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

7He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

8Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

9Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

10Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

11Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

12And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

13Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

14For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

15The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

16They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

17They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

18They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

19Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

20Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

21Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
