1Often have they fought against me from my youth, let Israel now say.

2Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.

3The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.

4The Lord who is just will cut the necks of sinners:

5Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Sion.

6Let them be as grass on the tops of houses: which withered before it be plucked up:

7Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand: nor he that gathereth sheaves his bosom.

8And they that have passed by have not said: The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we have blessed you in the name of the Lord.

1Phước cho người nào kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va, Đi trong đường lối Ngài!

2Vì ngươi sẽ hưởng công việc của tay mình, Được phước, may mắn.

3Vợ ngươi ở trong nhà ngươi Sẽ như cây nho thạnh mậu; Con cái ngươi ở chung quanh bàn ngươi Khác nào những chồi ô-li-ve.

4Kìa, người nào kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va Sẽ được phước là như vậy.

5Nguyện Đức Giê-hô-va từ Si-ôn ban phước cho ngươi; Nguyện trọn đời mình ngươi được thấy sự phước lành của Giê-ru-sa-lem.

6Nguyện ngươi được thấy con cháu mình! Nguyện sự bình an giáng trên Y-sơ-ra-ên!
