Psalms

1Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord: he shall delight exceedingly in his commandments.

2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

3Glory and wealth shall be in his house: and his justice remaineth for ever and ever.

4To the righteous a light is risen up in darkness: he is merciful, and compassionate and just.

5Acceptable is the man that showeth mercy and lendeth: he shall order his words with judgment:

6Because he shall not be moved for ever.

7The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not hear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord:

8His heart is strengthened, he shall not be moved until he look over his enemies.

9He hath distributed, he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for ever and ever: his horn shall be exalted in glory.

10The wicked shall see, and shall be angry, he shall gnash with his teeth and pine away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

1Ha-lê-lu-gia! Tôi sẽ hết lòng ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va Trong đám người ngay thẳng và tại hội chúng.

2Công việc Đức Giê-hô-va đều lớn lao; Phàm ai ưa thích, ắt sẽ tra sát đến;

3Công việc Ngài có vinh hiển oai nghi; Sự công bình Ngài còn đến đời đời.

4Ngài lập sự kỷ niệm về công việc lạ lùng của Ngài. Đức Giê-hô-va hay làm ơn và có lòng thương xót.

5Ban vật thực cho kẻ kính sợ Ngài, Và nhớ lại sự giao ước mình luôn luôn.

6Ngài đã tỏ cho dân sự Ngài quyền năng về công việc Ngài, Đặng ban cho họ sản nghiệp của các nước.

7Công việc tay Ngài là chân thật và công bình; Các giềng mối Ngài đều là chắc chắn,

8Được lập vững bền đời đời vô cùng, Theo sự chân thật và sự ngay thẳng.

9Ngài đã sai cứu chuộc dân Ngài, Truyền lập giao ước Ngài đến đời đời. Danh Ngài là thánh, đáng kính sợ.

10Sự kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va là khởi đầu sự khôn ngoan; Phàm kẻ nào giữ theo điều răn Ngài có trí hiểu. Sự ngợi khen Ngài còn đến đời đời.
