1And the divisions of the porters: of the Corites Meselemia, the son of Core, of the sons of Asaph.

2The sons of Meselemia: Zacharias the firstborn, Jadihel the second, Zabadias the third, Jathanael the fourth,

3Elam the fifth, Johanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.

4And the sons of Obededom, Semeias the firstborn, Jozabad the second, Joaha the third, Sachar the fourth, Nathanael the fifth,

5Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phollathi the eighth: for the Lord had blessed him.

6And to Semei his son were born sons, herds of their families: for they were men of great valour.

7The sons then of Semeias were Othni, and Raphael, and Obed, Elizabad, and his brethren most valiant men: and Eliu, and Samachias.

8All these of the sons of Obededom: they, and their sons, and their brethren most able men for service, sixty-two of Obededom.

9And the sons of Meselemia, and their brethren strong men, were eighteen.

10And of Hosa, that is, of the sons of Merari: Semri the chief, (for he had not a firstborn, and therefore his father made him chief.)

11Helcias the second, Tabelias the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these the sons, and the brethren of Hosa, were thirteen.

12Among these were the divisions of the porters, so that the chiefs of the wards, as well as their brethren, always ministered in the house of the Lord.

13And they cast lots equally, both little and great, by their families for every one of the gates.

14And the lot of the east fell to Selemias. But to his son Zacharias, a very wise and learned man, the north gate fell by lot.

15And to Obededom and his sons that towards the south: in which part of the house was the council of the ancients.

16To Sephim, and Hosa towards the west, by the gate which leadeth to the way of the ascent: ward against ward.

17Now towards the east were six Levites: and towards the north four a day: and towards the south likewise four a day: and where the council was, two and two.

18In the cells also of the porters toward the west four in the way: and two at every cell.

19These are the divisions of the porters of the sons of Core, and of Merari.

20Now Achias was over the treasures of the house of God, and the holy vessels.

21The sons of Ledan, the sons of Gersonni: of Ledan were heads of the families, of Ledan, and Gersonni, Jehieli.

22The sons of Jehieli: Zathan and Joel, his brethren over the treasures of the house of the Lord,

23With the Amramites, and Isaarites, and Hebronites, and Ozielites.

24And Subael the son of Gersom, the son of Moses, was chief over the treasures.

25His brethren also, Eliezer, whose son Rohobia, and his son Isaias, and his son Joram, and his son Zechri, and his son Selemith.

26Which Selemith and his brethren were over the treasures of the holy things, which king David, and the heads of families, and the captains over thousands and over hundreds, and the captains of the host had dedicated,

27Out of the wars, and the spoils won in battles, which they had consecrated to the building and furniture of the temple of the Lord.

28And all these things that Samuel the seer and Saul the son of Cis, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Sarvia had sanctified: and whosoever had sanctified those things, they were under the hand of Selemith and his brethren.

29But Chonenias and his sons were over the Isaarites, for the business abroad over Israel to teach them and judge them.

30And of the Hebronites Hasabias, and his brethren most able men, a thousand seven hundred had the charge over Israel beyond the Jordan westward, in all the works of the Lord, and for the service of the king.

31And the chief of the Hebronites was Jeria according to their families and kindreds. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were numbered, and there were found most valiant men in Jazer Galaad,

32And his brethren of stronger age, two thousand seven hundred chiefs of families. And king David made them rulers over the Rubenites and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses, for all the service of God, and the king.

1Các người giữ cửa được chia nhóm như sau : trong hàng con cháu Cô-rắc có Mơ-se-lem-gia-hu con của Cô-rê là một trong số các con của A-xáp.

2Các con của Mơ-se-lem-gia-hu là : Dơ-khác-gia-hu con trưởng, Giơ-đi-a-ên thứ hai, Dơ-vát-gia-hu thứ ba, Giát-ni-ên thứ tư,

3Ê-lam thứ năm, Giơ-hô-kha-nan thứ sáu, En-giơ-hô-ê-nai thứ bảy.

4Các con của Ô-vết Ê-đôm là : Sơ-ma-gia con trưởng, Giơ-hô-da-vát thứ hai, Giô-ác thứ ba, Xa-kha thứ tư, Nơ-than-ên thứ năm,

5Am-mi-ên thứ sáu, Ít-xa-kha thứ bảy, Pơ-u-lơ-thai thứ tám. Quả thật, Thiên Chúa đã giáng phúc cho ông.

6Con của ông là Sơ-ma-gia sinh được những người con có uy thế đối với gia tộc của họ, vì họ đều là những dũng sĩ có hạng.

7Các con của Sơ-ma-gia là : Ót-ni, Rơ-pha-ên, Ô-vết, En-da-bát và anh em ông là Ê-li-hu và Xơ-mác-gia-hu, những con người dũng cảm.

8Tất cả những người này là con cháu của Ô-vết Ê-đôm ; họ, các con và anh em họ đều là những con người phục vụ đầy khả năng và nghị lực : sáu mươi hai người thuộc dòng họ Ô-vết Ê-đôm.

9Mơ-se-lem-gia-hu có những người con và những anh em : mười tám người đầy dũng cảm.

10Khô-xa, trong các con của Mơ-ra-ri, có những người con : Sim-ri đứng đầu, vì dù ông không phải con trưởng, cha ông cũng đặt ông đứng đầu ;

11Khin-ki-gia-hu thứ hai, Tơ-van-gia-hu thứ ba, Dơ-khác-gia-hu thứ tư. Tất cả các con và anh em của Khô-xa là mười ba người.

12Theo số các gia trưởng, những người này được phân thành nhiều nhóm để giữ cửa. Họ cũng như các anh em họ có trách nhiệm phục vụ Nhà ĐỨC CHÚA.

13Theo gia tộc, họ bốc thăm cho từng cửa một, kẻ bé cũng như người lớn.

14Ông Se-lem-gia-hu bốc thăm trúng phía đông. Con ông là Dơ-khác-gia-hu, một cố vấn khôn ngoan ; họ bốc thăm, và ông này trúng phía bắc.

15Ông Ô-vết Ê-đôm trúng phía nam, còn các con ông trúng các kho.

16Ông Súp-pim và ông Khô-xa trúng phía tây với cửa Sa-le-khét trên đường lên dốc. Trạm gác này đối diện trạm gác kia.

17Phía đông mỗi ngày có sáu thầy Lê-vi, phía bắc mỗi ngày bốn thầy, phía nam mỗi ngày bốn thầy, còn các kho thì mỗi kho hai thầy ;

18tại Khu Phụ Thuộc ở phía tây thì bốn người gác ngoài đường, hai người gác trong nhà.

19Đó là các nhóm giữ cửa thuộc hàng con cháu Cô-rắc và con cháu Mơ-ra-ri.

20Các thầy Lê-vi, anh em của những người trên đây, thì phụ trách các kho Nhà Thiên Chúa và kho chứa đồ thánh.

21Giữa con cháu La-đan thuộc dòng họ Ghéc-sôn, thì các trưởng tộc trong ngành La-đan thuộc dòng họ Ghéc-sôn chính là con cháu ông Giơ-khi-ên.

22Các con ông Giơ-khi-ên là Dê-tham và em là Giô-en phụ trách các kho báu trong Nhà ĐỨC CHÚA.

23Về những người thuộc các ngành Am-ram, Gít-ha, Khép-rôn và Út-di-ên,

24thì quản đốc các kho báu là Sơ-vu-ên con của Ghéc-sôm ; ông này là con của Mô-sê.

25Các anh em của Su-va-ên thuộc ngành Ê-li-e-de là : Rơ-kháp-gia-hu con ông, Giơ-sa-gia-hu con ông, Giô-ram con ông, Dích-ri con ông, Sơ-lô-mít con ông.

26Ông Sơ-lô-mít này cùng các anh em ông phụ trách tất cả các kho chứa đồ thánh do vua Đa-vít, các trưởng tộc, các vị chỉ huy một ngàn quân, và các vị chỉ huy một trăm quân cùng các tướng lãnh quân đội dâng cúng.

27Những đồ dâng cúng này lấy ra trong số các chiến phẩm, các vật đã chiếm được, và dùng để trùng tu Nhà ĐỨC CHÚA.

28Họ cũng phụ trách tất cả những gì do thầy chiêm Sa-mu-en, vua Sa-un con ông Kít, ông Áp-ne con ông Ne, ông Giô-áp con bà Xơ-ru-gia dâng cúng. Tất cả những gì đã được dâng cúng đều được ông Sơ-lô-mít và các anh em trông coi.

29Trong hàng con cháu Gít-ha, ông Cơ-nan-gia-hu cùng các con lo việc dân sự trong Ít-ra-en với chức vụ ký lục và thẩm phán.

30Trong hàng con cháu Khép-rôn, ông Kha-sáp-gia-hu và các anh em, những người dũng cảm, tất cả là một ngàn bảy trăm, có nhiệm vụ cai quản Ít-ra-en phía tây sông Gio-đan trong mọi việc của ĐỨC CHÚA và việc phục vụ nhà vua.

31Trong hàng con cháu Khép-rôn, đứng đầu là Giơ-ri-gia. Vào năm bốn mươi triều vua Đa-vít, người ta thực hiện những cuộc điều tra trong hàng ngũ con cháu Khép-rôn theo gia phả từng gia đình, và đã thấy họ có những chiến sĩ dũng cảm tại Gia-de vùng Ga-la-át.

32Anh em của ông, gồm hai ngàn bảy trăm người, là những người dũng cảm, đứng đầu các gia tộc. Họ được vua Đa-vít đặt cai quản các người thuộc họ Rưu-vên, họ Gát và một nửa chi họ Mơ-na-se trong mọi công việc của Thiên Chúa và của vua.
