Leviticus

1On the eighth day, Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

2and he said to Aaron, “Take a calf from the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without defect, and offer them before the LORD.

3You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without defect, for a burnt offering;

4and a bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meal offering mixed with oil: for today the LORD appears to you.’”

5They brought what Moses commanded before the Tent of Meeting. All the congregation came near and stood before the LORD.

6Moses said, “This is the thing which the LORD commanded that you should do; and the LORD’s glory shall appear to you.”

7Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as the LORD commanded.”

8So Aaron came near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

9The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar;

10but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses.

11The meat and the skin he burnt with fire outside the camp.

12He killed the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons delivered the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar.

13They delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head. He burnt them upon the altar.

14He washed the innards and the legs, and burnt them on the burnt offering on the altar.

15He presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

16He presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

17He presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from there, and burnt it upon the altar, in addition to the burnt offering of the morning.

18He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people. Aaron’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar;

19and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the innards, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver;

20and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat on the altar.

21Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh for a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses commanded.

22Aaron lifted up his hands towards the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

23Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people; and the LORD’s glory appeared to all the people.

24Fire came out from before the LORD, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

1Đến ngày thứ tám, ông Mô-sê gọi ông A-ha-ron và các con ông ấy, cũng như các kỳ mục Ít-ra-en,

2và nói với ông A-ha-ron : “Ông hãy bắt một con bê để làm lễ tạ tội, với một con cừu đực để làm lễ toàn thiêu, cả hai còn toàn vẹn, và hãy tiến dâng chúng trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA.

3Rồi ông hãy nói với con cái Ít-ra-en rằng : “Hãy bắt một con dê đực để làm lễ tạ tội, một con bê với một con chiên, cả hai phải được một tuổi, toàn vẹn, để làm lễ toàn thiêu,

4một con bò đực và một con dê đực để làm lễ kỳ an dâng trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA, và một lễ phẩm nhào với dầu ; vì hôm nay ĐỨC CHÚA sẽ xuất hiện giữa anh em.”

5Họ đưa đến trước Lều Hội Ngộ những gì ông Mô-sê đã truyền, rồi toàn thể cộng đồng lại gần và đứng trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA.

6Ông Mô-sê nói : “Đây là điều ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền cho anh em ; anh em hãy thi hành để vinh quang ĐỨC CHÚA xuất hiện giữa anh em.”

7Ông Mô-sê nói với ông A-ha-ron : “Ông hãy lại gần bàn thờ, hãy dâng lễ tạ tội và lễ toàn thiêu của ông, để làm lễ xá tội cho ông và cho dân, rồi hãy dâng lễ tiến của dân để cử hành lễ xá tội cho họ, như ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền.”

8Ông A-ha-ron lại gần bàn thờ và sát tế con bê để làm lễ tạ tội cho chính mình.

9Các con ông A-ha-ron đem máu lại cho ông ; ông nhúng ngón tay vào máu, bôi lên các góc cong của bàn thờ, rồi đổ máu xuống trên bàn thờ.

10Mỡ, hai trái cật và khối mỡ lấy từ gan của lễ vật tạ tội, thì ông đốt cho cháy nghi ngút trên bàn thờ, như ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền cho ông Mô-sê ;

11còn thịt và da, ông bỏ vào lửa mà thiêu bên ngoài trại.

12Ông sát tế lễ vật toàn thiêu ; các con ông A-ha-ron mang máu đến cho ông, và ông rảy máu chung quanh bàn thờ.

13Họ cũng mang đến cho ông lễ vật toàn thiêu đã xả thành mảnh, cùng với cái đầu, và ông đốt cho cháy nghi ngút trên bàn thờ.

14Ông rửa lòng và chân nó, rồi đốt cho cháy nghi ngút trên bàn thờ, bên trên lễ toàn thiêu.

15Ông dâng lễ tiến của dân : ông bắt con dê đực dùng làm lễ tạ tội cho dân, sát tế và dâng nó làm lễ tạ tội như con trước.

16Ông dâng tiến lễ toàn thiêu và làm như luật định.

17Ông tiến dâng lễ phẩm : ông bốc một nắm đầy lễ phẩm và đốt cho cháy nghi ngút trên bàn thờ, thêm vào lễ toàn thiêu buổi sáng.

18Ông sát tế con bò đực, và con cừu đực làm hy lễ kỳ an cho dân ; các con ông A-ha-ron mang máu đến cho ông, và ông rảy máu chung quanh bàn thờ.

19Mỡ con bò và mỡ con cừu, cái đuôi, mỡ chài, hai trái cật và khối mỡ của gan,

20thì họ đặt trên những cái ức, và ông đốt cho cháy nghi ngút trên bàn thờ.

21Ức và đùi phải, thì ông A-ha-ron làm nghi thức tiến dâng trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA, như ông Mô-sê đã truyền.

22Ông A-ha-ron giơ tay trên dân và chúc phúc cho họ ; rồi ông đi xuống, sau khi đã cử hành lễ tạ tội, lễ toàn thiêu và lễ kỳ an.

23Ông Mô-sê và ông A-ha-ron vào Lều Hội Ngộ, rồi đi ra chúc phúc cho dân. Vinh quang ĐỨC CHÚA xuất hiện giữa toàn dân.

24Lửa phát ra từ trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA đốt sạch lễ toàn thiêu và mỡ trên bàn thờ. Thấy thế, toàn dân reo mừng và cúi rạp xuống.
