1To you, LORD, I call.My rock, don’t be deaf to me, lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.

2Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you,when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.

3Don’t draw me away with the wicked,with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.

4Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings.Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.

5Because they don’t respect the works of the LORD,nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.

6Blessed be the LORD,because he has heard the voice of my petitions.

7The LORD is my strength and my shield.My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped.Therefore my heart greatly rejoices.With my song I will thank him.

8The LORD is their strength.He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

9Save your people,and bless your inheritance.Be their shepherd also,and bear them up forever.

1A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.

2Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.

3The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.

4The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.

5The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.

6And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.

7The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:

8The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.

9The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.

10The Lord maketh the flood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever.

11The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.
