1Bless the LORD,my soul.The LORD, my God, you are very great. You are clothed with honor and majesty.

2He covers himself with light as with a garment.He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.

3He lays the beams of his rooms in the waters.He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.

4He makes his messengerswinds,and his servants flames of fire.

5He laid the foundations of the earth,that it should not be moved forever.

6You covered it with the deep as with a cloak.The waters stood above the mountains.

7At your rebuke they fled.At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.

8The mountains rose,the valleys sank down, to the place which you had assigned to them.

9You have set a boundary that they may not pass over,that they don’t turn again to cover the earth.

10He sends springs into the valleys.They run among the mountains.

11They give drink to every animal of the field.The wild donkeys quench their thirst.

12The birds of the sky nest by them.They sing among the branches.

13He waters the mountains from his rooms.The earth is filled with the fruit of your works.

14He causes the grass to grow for the livestock,and plants for man to cultivate, that he may produce food out of the earth:

15wine that makes the heart of man glad,oil to make his face to shine, and bread that strengthens man’s heart.

16The LORD’s trees are well watered,the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted,

17where the birds make their nests.The stork makes its home in the cypress trees.

18The high mountains are for the wild goats.The rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.

19He appointed the moon for seasons.The sun knows when to set.

20You make darkness, and it is night,in which all the animals of the forest prowl.

21The young lions roar after their prey,and seek their food from God.

22The sun rises, and they steal away,and lie down in their dens.

23Man goes out to his work,to his labor until the evening.

24LORD, how many are your works!In wisdom, you have made them all. The earth is full of your riches.

25There is the sea, great and wide,in which are innumerable living things, both small and large animals.

26There the ships go,and leviathan, whom you formed to play there.

27These all wait for you,that you may give them their food in due season.

28You give to them; they gather.You open your hand; they are satisfied with good.

29You hide your face; they are troubled.You take away their breath; they die and return to the dust.

30You send out your Spirit and they are created.You renew the face of the ground.

31Let the LORD’s glory endure forever.Let the LORD rejoice in his works.

32He looks at the earth, and it trembles.He touches the mountains, and they smoke.

33I will sing to the LORD as long as I live.I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.

34Let my meditation be sweet to him.I will rejoice in the LORD.

35Let sinners be consumed out of the earth.Let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD,my soul. Praise the LORD!

Chúa Phù Hộ Tạo Vật của Ngài

1Hồn ta hỡi, hãy dâng tiếng ca ngợi Chúa Hằng Hữu. Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời con, Ngài thật vĩ đại vô cùng!Chúa mặc vinh quang và uy nghi.

2Ánh sáng bọc quanh Ngài như chiếc áo.Chúa giương các tầng trời như căng trại;

3đặt các xà ngang của lâu đài Ngài trên nước,dùng mây làm xa giá; và cỡi trên cánh gió.

4Ngài sai gió ra đi làm sứ giảdùng lửa hừng làm bầy tôi.

5Chúa đặt vững trụ nền trái đấtđể nó không bao giờ chuyển lay.

6Chúa phủ mặt đất bằng vực thẳm,nước dâng ngập các ngọn núi cao.

7Nghe Chúa quở nước liền chạy trốn;tiếng sấm Ngài làm nước cuốn xa.

8Nước phủ ngập trên núi cao, tràn vào thung lũng,đến đúng nơi Chúa đã ấn định.

9Chúa đặt ranh giới cho nước,để nó không còn bao phủ mặt đất.

10Chúa làm suối tuôn trào trong thung lũng,các dòng sông lượn khúc giữa rặng đồi.

11Suối, sông cung cấp nước ngọtcho thú đồng,bầy lừa rừng giải khát bên dòng sông.

12Chim chóc quần tụ quanh bờ suốivà ca hát líu lo giữa cành cây.

13Từ lầu cao, Chúa cho mưa khắp núi,đất thỏa mãn vì bông trái là thành quả của tay Chúa.

14Chúa khiến cỏ mọc lên nuôi gia súc,tạo nên các loại rau đậu cho loài người. Chúa bảo lòng đất sản sinh thực phẩm—

15ban rượu làm phấn chấn tâm hồn,dầu ô-liu làm mặt mày rạng rỡ và bánh làm cho con người mạnh mẽ.

16Cây cối của Chúa Hằng Hữu được dầm thấm nước—là bá hương Li-ban được Ngài trồng.

17Nơi có chim làm tổ,và loài cò làm nhà trên cây bách.

18Các ngọn núi cao dành cho dê rừngvà dốc núi cheo leo cho loài chuột đồng ẩn.

19Chúa dùng mặt trăng phân định bốn mùa,và mặt trời biết đúng giờ phải lặn.

20Tay Chúa kéo bức màn đêm xuống,các thú rừng từ nơi ẩn trú kéo ra.

21Sư tử tơ gầm thét đuổi theo mồi,xin Đức Chúa Trời ban cho thực phẩm.

22Bình minh chiếu rực, thú rừng lui,kéo nhau về nằm trong hang, động.

23Loài người đi ra đồng canh tác,cần cù lao động đến chiều hôm.

24Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, công việc Chúa vô biên, huyền diệu!Sự khôn ngoan Ngài thực hiện lắm kỳ công. Khắp đất đầy dẫy các tạo vật của Ngài.

25Lòng đại dương sâu rộng mênh mông,chứa vô số sinh vật, nhỏ lớn đủ loại.

26Tàu bè qua lại,loài Lê-vi-a-than mà Ngài tạo cũng thỏa thích nô đùa.

27Vạn vật sống đều do tay Chúa,Ngài cấp thực phẩm đúng nhu cầu.

28Chúa phân phối, chúng liền ăn uốngđến no nê thực phẩm Ngài ban.

29Chúa ngoảnh mặt, chúng đều sợ hãi.Chúa vừa rút hơi thở, chúng lăn ra chết, và trở về bụi đất là cội nguồn.

30Khi Chúa truyền sinh khí, sự sống được dựng nên,và Chúa đem tươi mới cho muôn loài trên đất.

31Vinh quang Chúa sáng rực đời đời!Nguyện Chúa Hằng Hữu hài lòng về công việc Ngài!

32Chúa nhìn địa cầu, đất liền rung chuyển;Ngài sờ núi, núi liền bốc khói.

33Con sẽ ca ngợi Chúa suốt đời con.Con sẽ chúc tụng Đức Chúa Trời con mãi mãi!

34Nguyện mọi suy nghĩ con vui lòng Chúa,hẳn con sẽ hân hoan trong Ngài.

35Ước gì bọn tội ác bị tiêu diệt khỏi đất;và bóng bọn gian tà biến mất mãi mãi. Hồn ta hỡi, hãy chúc tụng Chúa Hằng Hữu.Hãy hân hoan ngợi tôn Ngài.
