(Bài ca lên Đền Thờ)

1Phước cho người kính sợ Chúa Hằng Hữu—và vâng giữ đường lối Ngài.

2Họ sẽ hưởng kết quả công lao mình.Được hạnh phúc, an lành biết bao!

3Vợ đảm đang vui việc gia thất,như giàn nho tươi ngọt trong vườn.Bên bàn ăn con cái quây quần,vươn sức sống như chồi ô-liu, xanh mướt.

4Người nào kính sợ Chúa Hằng Hữu,hẳn được phước dồi dào như thế.

5Nguyện từ Si-ôn, Chúa Hằng Hữu tiếp tục ban phước.Trọn đời ngươi thấy ân lành từ Giê-ru-sa-lem.

6Nguyện ngươi sẽ thấy cháu chắt mình.Nguyện cầu bình an cho Giê-ru-sa-lem!

1Often have they fought against me from my youth, let Israel now say.

2Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.

3The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.

4The Lord who is just will cut the necks of sinners:

5Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Sion.

6Let them be as grass on the tops of houses: which withered before it be plucked up:

7Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand: nor he that gathereth sheaves his bosom.

8And they that have passed by have not said: The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we have blessed you in the name of the Lord.
