Dòng Dõi của Ít-ra-ên

1Con trai của Ít-ra-ên là: Ru-bên, Si-mê-ôn, Lê-vi, Giu-đa, Y-sa-ca, Sa-bu-luân,

2Đan, Giô-sép, Bên-gia-min, Nép-ta-li, Gát, và A-se.

Dòng Dõi của Giu-đa

3Giu-đa cưới vợ là Ba-sua, người Ca-na-an, sinh ba con trai là Ê-rơ, Ô-nan, và Sê-la. Nhưng Ê-rơ gian ác đến nỗi bị Chúa Hằng Hữu giết.

4Ta-ma, con dâu của Giu-đa, sinh cho ông hai con sinh đôi là Phê-rết và Xê-rách. Vậy Giu-đa được năm con trai.

5Con trai của Phê-rết là Hết-rôn và Ha-mun.

6Con trai của Xê-rách là Xim-ri, Ê-than, Hê-man, Canh-côn, và Đa-ra, tất cả là năm người.

7Con trai của Cát-mi là A-can (người ăn cắp thánh vật và gây đại nạn cho người Ít-ra-ên).

8Con trai của Ê-than là A-xa-ria.

Từ Con Cháu của Hết-rôn đến Đa-vít

9Con trai của Hết-rôn là Giê-rác-mê-ên, Ram, và Ca-lép.

10Ram sinh A-mi-na-đáp. A-mi-na-đáp sinh Na-ha-sôn, là một lãnh tụ của người Giu-đa.

11Na-ha-sôn sinh Sanh-ma. Sanh-ma sinh Bô-ô.

12Bô-ô sinh Ô-bết. Ô-bết sinh Gie-sê.

13Giê-se sinh con đầu lòng là Ê-li-áp, con thứ nhì là A-bi-na-đáp, con thứ ba là Si-mê-a,

14con thứ tư là Na-tha-na-ên, con thứ năm là Ra-đai,

15con thứ sáu là Ô-xem, con thứ bảy là Đa-vít.

16Chị em của họ là Xê-ru-gia và A-bi-ga-in. Xê-ru-gia sinh A-bi-sai, Giô-áp, và A-sa-ên.

17A-bi-ga-in lấy chồng là Giê-the, người Ích-ma-ên, sinh A-ma-sa.

Dòng Dõi Khác của Hết-rôn

18Ca-lép, con Hết-rôn, cưới hai vợ tên A-xu-ba và Giê-ri-ốt. A-xu-ba sinh Giê-sê, Sô-báp, và Ạt-đôn.

19Sau khi A-xu-ba qua đời, Ca-lép cưới Ê-phơ-rát, sinh một con trai tên Hu-rơ.

20Hu-rơ sinh U-ri. U-ri sinh Bê-sa-lê.

21Hết-rôn được sáu mươi tuổi, cưới con gái của Ma-ki, cha của Ga-la-át. Ông bà có một con trai đặt tên là Sê-gúp.

22Sê-gúp sinh Giai-rơ, là người cai trị hai mươi ba thành xứ Ga-la-át.

23(Nhưng người Ghê-sua và A-ram chiếm đoạt các thành phố Giai-rơ, đồng thời cũng chiếm luôn thành phố Kê-nát và sáu mươi làng quanh thành phố này.) Tất cả những người này là con cháu Ma-ki, cha của Ga-la-át.

24Sau khi Hết-rôn vừa qua đời tại Ca-lép Ép-ra-ta, vợ người là A-bi-gia sinh A-sua (cha Thê-cô-a).

Dòng Dõi của Giê-rác-mê-ên, Con Hết-rôn

25Con trai của Giê-rác-mê-ên, trưởng nam của Hết-rôn, là Ram (trưởng nam), Bu-na, Ô-ren, Ô-xem, và A-hi-gia.

26Giê-rác-mê-ên cưới thêm A-ta-ra và sinh Ô-nam.

27Con trai của Ram, trưởng nam của Giê-rác-mê-ên là Ma-ách, Gia-min, và Ê-ke.

28Các con trai của Ô-nam là Sha-mai và Gia-đa. Con trai của Sam-mai là Na-đáp và A-bi-su

29A-bi-su cưới A-bi-hai và sinh Ạc-ban và Mô-lít.

30Na-đáp sinh Sê-lê và Áp-ba-im. Sê-le qua đời, không có con,

31nhưng Áp-ba-im có một con trai tên Di-si. Di-si sinh Sê-san. Sê-san sinh Ạc-lai.

32Các con trai của Gia-đa, em Sha-mai là Giê-the và Giô-na-than. Giê-the qua đời, không con,

33nhưng Giô-na-than có hai con trai là Phê-lết và Xa-xa. Đó là con cháu của Giê-rác-mê-ên.

34Sê-sankhông có con trai, chỉ có con gái. Ông cũng có một đầy tớ từ Ai Cập tên Gia-ra.

35Sê-san gả con cho Gia-ra, và họ sinh được một con trai tên Ạt-tai.

36Ạt-tai sinh Na-than. Na-than sinh Xa-bát.

37Xa-bát sinh Êp-la. Êp-la sinh Ô-bết.

38Ô-bết sinh Giê-hu. Giê-hu sinh A-xa-ria.

39A-xa-ria sinh Hê-lết. Hê-lết sinh Ê-la-xa.

40Ê-la-xa sinh Sít-mai. Sít-mai sinh Sa-lum.

41Sa-lum sinh Giê-ca-mia. Giê-ca-mia sinh Ê-li-sa-ma.

Dòng Dõi của Ca-lép, Con Hết-rôn

42Dòng dõi của Ca-lép, em của Giê-rác-mê-ên, là Mê-sa (trưởng nam), tổ phụ của Xíp. Dòng dõi của Ca-lép cũng gồm Ma-rê-sa, tổ phụ của Hếp-rôn.

43Hếp-rôn sinh Cô-rê, Tháp-bu-a, Rê-kem, và Sê-ma.

44Sê-ma sinh Ra-cham. Ra-cham sinh Giô-kê-am. Rê-kem sinh Sa-mai.

45Sa-mai sinh Ma-ôn. Ma-ôn sinh Bết-sua.

46Ca-lép cưới thêm Ê-pha, sinh Ha-ran, Một-sa, và Ga-xe. Ha-ran sinh Ga-xe.

47Gia-đai sinh Rê-ghem, Giô-tham, Ghê-san, Phê-lết, Ê-pha, và Sa-áp.

48Ca-lép lại cưới Ma-a-ca và sinh Sê-be và Ti-ra-na,

49Nàng còn sinh thêm Sa-áp (tổ phụ của Mát-ma-na) và Sê-va (tổ phụ của Mát-bê-na và Ghi-bê-a). Ca-lép cũng có một con gái tên Ạc-sa.

50Đây là dòng dõi của Ca-lép. Dòng Dõi của Hu-rơ, Con Hết-rôn Hu-rơ, trưởng nam của Ê-phơ-rát, vợ Ca-lép, sinh các con trai là Sô-banh, (người sáng lập Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim),

51Sanh-ma, (người sáng lập Bết-lê-hem), và Ha-rếp (người sáng lập Bết Ga-đe).

52Dòng dõi của Sô-banh (người sáng lập Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim) là Ha-rô-ê, tổ phụ một nửa dân tộc Mê-nu-hốt,

53và gia đình Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim gồm họ Ga-rép, họ Phu-tít, họ Su-ma-tít, và họ Mích-ra-ít; cũng từ đó mà có họ Xô-ra-tít và họ Ếch-tao-lít.

3¶ The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.

4And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

5The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.

6And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.

7And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

8And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

9The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

10And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

11And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

12And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

13¶ And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

14Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:

16Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

17And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.

18¶ And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

20And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

21¶ And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.

22And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.

23And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

24And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah Hezron’s wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

25¶ And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.

26Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

28And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.

29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.

30And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

31And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.

32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

33And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34¶ Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

35And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

36And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

37And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

38And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

39And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

40And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

41And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42¶ Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

44And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.

45And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

46And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.

47And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

48Maachah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.

49She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

50¶ These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,

51Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

52And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.

53And the families of Kirjath-jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.

54The sons of Salma; Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.

55And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
