Ezra

1Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

2Which came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

3The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.

4The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.

5The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.

6The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.

7The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

8The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.

9The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.

10The children of Bani, six hundred forty and two.

11The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and three.

12The children of Azgad, a thousand two hundred twenty and two.

13The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.

14The children of Bigvai, two thousand fifty and six.

15The children of Adin, four hundred fifty and four.

16The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.

17The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and three.

18The children of Jorah, an hundred and twelve.

21The children of Beth-lehem, an hundred twenty and three.

22The men of Netophah, fifty and six.

25The children of Kirjath-arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty and three.

26The children of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty and one.

27The men of Michmas, an hundred twenty and two.

28The men of Beth-el and Ai, two hundred twenty and three.

29The children of Nebo, fifty and two.

30The children of Magbish, an hundred fifty and six.

31The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

32The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.

33The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and five.

34The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.

35The children of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.

36¶ The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.

37The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.

38The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.

39The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.

40¶ The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and four.

41¶ The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred twenty and eight.

42¶ The children of the porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all an hundred thirty and nine.

43¶ The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,

44The children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon,

45The children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub,

46The children of Hagab, the children of Shalmai, the children of Hanan,

47The children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah,

48The children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam,

49The children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai,

50The children of Asnah, the children of Mehunim, the children of Nephusim,

51The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,

52The children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,

53The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,

54The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

55¶ The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,

56The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

57The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.

58All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

59And these were they which went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

60The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

61¶ And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:

62These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

63And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

64¶ The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

65Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.

66Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;

67Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68¶ And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:

69They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.

70So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.

1Trong con cháu các dân tỉnh Giu-đa bị Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, bắt dẫn qua Ba-by-lôn, nầy những người bị đày đó trở lên Giê-ru-sa-lem và xứ Giu-đa, mỗi người về trong thành mình,

2có Xô-rô-ba-bên, Giê-sua, Nê-hê-mi, Sê-ra-gia, Rê-ê-la-gia, Mạc-đô-chê, Binh-san, Mít-bạt, Biết-vai, Rê-hum và Ba-a-na dẫn dắt. Vậy, nầy là sổ dựng những người nam của Y-sơ-ra-ên.

3Họ Pha-rốt, hai ngàn một trăm bảy mươi hai;

4họ Sê-pha-ti-a, ba trăm bảy mươi hai;

5họ A-rách, bảy trăm bảy mươi lăm;

6họ Pha-hát-Mô-áp, con cháu của Giê-sua và Giô-áp, hai ngàn tám trăm mười hai;

7họ Ê-lam, một ngàn hai trăm năm mươi bốn;

8họ Xát-tu, chín trăm bốn mươi lăm;

9họ Xác-cai, bảy trăm sáu mươi;

10họ Ba-ni, sáu trăm bốn mươi hai;

11họ Bê-bai, sáu trăm hai mươi ba;

12họ A-gát, một ngàn hai trăm hai mươi hai;

13họ A-đô-ni-cam, sáu trăm sáu mươi sáu;

14họ Biết-vai, hai ngàn năm mươi sáu;

15họ A-đin, bốn trăm năm mươi bốn;

16họ A-te, về gia quyến Ê-xê-chia, chín mươi tám;

17họ Bết-sai, ba trăm hai mươi ba;

18họ Giô-ra, một trăm mười hai;

19họ Ha-sum, hai trăm hai mươi ba;

20họ Ghi-ba, chín mươi lăm;

21họ Bết-lê-hem, một trăm hai mươi ba;

22người Nê-tô-pha, năm mươi sáu;

23người A-na-tốt, một trăm hai mươi tám;

24người Aùch-ma-vết, bốn mươi hai,

25người Ki-ri-át-A-rim, Kê-phi-ra, và Bê-ê-rốt, bảy trăm bốn mươi ba;

26người Ra-ma và Ghê-ba, sáu trăm hai mươi mốt;

27người Mích-ma, một trăm hai hai mươi hai;

28người Bê-tên và A-hi, hai trăm hai mươi ba;

29họ Nê-bô, năm mươi hai;

30họ Mác-bi một trăm năm mươi sáu;

31họ Ê-lam khác, một ngàn hai trăm năm mươi bốn;

32họ Ha-rim, ba trăm hai mươi;

33họ Lô-đơ, họ Ha-đít, và họ Ô-nô, bảy trăm hai mươi lăm;

34người Giê-ri-cô, ba trăm bốn mươi lăm;

35họ Sê-na, ba ngàn sáu trăm ba mươi.

36Những thầy tế lễ: họ Giê-đa-gia, thuộc về nhà Giê-sua, chín trăm bảy mươi ba;

37họ Y-mê, một ngàn hăm mươi hai;

38họ Pha-su-rơ, một ngàn hai trăm bốn mươi bảy;

39họ Ha-rim, một ngàn mười bảy.

40Các người Lê-vi: họ Giê-sua và Cát-mi-ên, con cháu của Hô-đa-via, bảy mươi bốn.

41Những người ca hát: họ A-sáp, một trăm hai mươi tám.

42Các con cháu kẻ giữ cửa: con cháu Sa-lum, con cháu A-te, con cháu Tanh-môn, con cháu A-cúp, con cháu Ha-ti-ta, con cháu Sô-bai, cộng hết thảy là một trăm ba mươi chín người.

43Kẻ phục dịch trong đền thờ: Con cháu Xi-ha, con cháu Ha-su-pha, con cháu Ta-ba-ốt,

44con cháu Kê-rốt, con cháu Sia-ha, con cháu Ba-đôn,

45con cháu Lê-ba-na, con cháu Ha-ga-ba, con cháu A-cúp,

46con cháu Ha-gáp, con cháu Sam-lai, con cháu Ha-nan,

47con cháu Ghi-đên, con cháu Ga-cha, con cháu Rê-a-gia,

48con cháu Rê-xin, con cháu Nê-cô-đa, con cháu Ga-xam,

49con cháu U-xa, con cháu Pha-sê-a, con cháu Bê-sai,

50con cháu A-sê-na, con cháu Mê-u-nim, con cháu Nê-phu-sim,

51con cháu Bác-búc, con cháu Ha-cu-pha, con cháu Ha-rua,

52con cháu Ba-lút, con cháu Mê-hi-đa, con cháu Hạt-sa,

53con cháu Bạt-cô, con cháu Si-sê-ra, con cháu Tha-mác,

54con cháu Nê-xia, con cháu Ha-ti-pha.

55Con cháu của các tôi tớ Sa-lô-môn: con cháu Sô-tai, con cháu Sô-phê-rết, con cháu Phê-ru-đa,

56con cháu Gia-a-la, con cháu Đạt-côn, con cháu Ghi-đên,

57con cháu Sê-pha-ti-a, con cháu Hát-tinh, con cháu Bô-kê-rết-Ha-xê-ba-im, con cháu A-mi.

58Tổng cộng những người phục dịch trong đền thờ và các con cháu của những tôi tớ Sa-lô-môn, đều là ba trăm chín mươi hai người.

59Nầy là những người ở Tên-Mê-la. Tên-Hạt-sa, Kê-rúp-A-đan, và Y-mê trở lên, không thể nói rõ gia tộc và phổ hệ mình, đặng chỉ rằng mình thuộc về dòng dõi Y-sơ-ra-ên hay chăng:

60con cháu Đê-la-gia, con cháu Tô-bi-gia, con cháu Nê-cô-đa, đều sáu trăm năm mươi hai người.

61Trong dòng dõi thầy tế lễ: con cháu Ha-ba-gia, con cháu Ha-cốt, con cháu Bạt-xi-lai. Người ấy có cưới một con gái của Bạt-xi-lai ở Ga-la-át, nên được gọi bằng tên ấy.

62Các người ấy tìm gia phổ mình, nhưng chẳng tìm đặng; nên người ta kể họ là ô uế, và họ bị truất khỏi chức tế lễ.

63Quan tổng đốc cấm chúng ăn những vật chí thánh cho đến chừng nào có thầy tế lễ cậy U-rim và Thu-mim mà cầu hỏi Đức Chúa Trời.

64Cả hội chúng đếm được bốn vạn hai ngàn ba trăm sáu mươi người,

65chẳng kể những tôi trai tớ gái; số chúng nó là bảy ngàn ba trăm ba mươi bảy. Cũng có hai trăm người nam nữ ca hát theo cùng họ nữa.

66Chúng có bảy trăm ba mươi sáu con ngựa, hai trăm bốn mươi lăm con la,

67bốn trăm ba mươi lăm con lạc đà, và sáu ngàn bảy trăm hai mươi con lừa.

68Có nhiều trưởng tộc, khi đã đến đền thờ của Đức Giê-hô-va tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, thì dâng những của lễ lạc ý cho nhà Đức Chúa Trời, để xây cất nó lại chỗ cũ.

69Tùy theo sức mình, chúng dâng vào kho của cuộc xây cất đền sáu mươi mốt ngàn đa-riếc vàng, năm ngàn min bạc, và một trăm bộ áo thầy tế lễ.

70Vậy, những thầy tế lễ, người Lê-vi, mấy người dân, người ca hát, kẻ giữ cửa, những người phục dịch trong đền thờ, và cả dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, thảy đều ở trong bổn thành mình.
