Quillin is an independent, contemplative editorial journal founded and authored by Kit. All essays, historical inquiries, philosophical notes, and reflections published herein are offered in service of readers seeking attentiveness, quiet reflection, and depth of soul.

The writings represent the independent research and perspectives of the author and do not constitute professional legal, financial, medical, or psychiatric counsel.

2. Intellectual Property & Fair Quotation

All content published on Quillin — including literary essays, textual scholarship, original diagrams and illustrations, visual design tokens, and application source code — is the exclusive intellectual property of Kit and Quillin, protected by international copyright conventions.

• Fair Quotation: Readers are welcome to quote brief excerpts (under 150 words) for academic, personal, or review purposes, provided that attribution to Kit and Quillin is clearly stated, accompanied by a direct hyperlink to the original essay at thequillin.me.
• Commercial Reproduction Prohibited: Verbatim duplication of full essays, unauthorized commercial redistribution, and compilation into commercial publications without explicit prior written consent from Kit are strictly prohibited.
• AI Model Training: Systematic automated scraping or extraction of Quillin content for the purpose of training commercial generative artificial intelligence models is expressly prohibited without a signed license agreement.

3. Reader Accounts & Community Conduct

By registering a reader account or signing in via Google, you agree to maintain the security of your authentication credentials and engage with the journal in good faith.

• Contemplative Demeanor: Reader reflections are intended as an unhurried sanctuary for sincere, charitable, and thoughtful dialogue. While diverse viewpoints are valued, vulgarity, ad hominem attacks, harassment, and belligerent dispute have no place here.
• Editorial Moderation: All reader reflections are subject to pre-publication review. Quillin reserves the right to decline, lightly format for clarity, or remove any reflection that detracts from the quiet tenor of the publication.
• No Commercial Solicitation: Promotional materials, commercial marketing, backlink spam, and unsolicited advertisements are strictly forbidden.

4. System Integrity, Rate Limiting & Acceptable Use

To safeguard an uninterrupted and peaceful reading environment for all visitors, Quillin enforces edge-level protections and sliding-window rate limits.

• You agree not to probe, scan, or breach system security, nor engage in distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attempts.
• Automated high-frequency request flooding across public APIs is actively mitigated.
• The editorial console (/admin and /api/admin/*) is strictly governed by Cloudflare Access Zero Trust and cryptographic assertion verification. Unauthorized intrusion attempts are rejected and logged.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Quillin is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While every diligence is exercised to ensure reliability, security, and typographical precision, we make no warranties that the service will remain entirely uninterrupted or error-free under unforeseen operational disruptions.
