(Bài ca lên Đền Thờ)

1Từ vực thẳm, lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu,con kêu van cứu giúp.

2Xin lắng tai nghe, lạy Chúa.Xin lưu ý lời con nguyện cầu.

3Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, nếu Ngài ghi nhớ tội ác chúng con,ai có thể đứng nổi trước mặt Ngài?

4Nhưng Chúa có lòng thứ tha,nên Ngài đáng kính sợ.

5Con mong đợi Chúa Hằng Hữu;linh hồn con ngóng trông Ngài. Con hy vọng nơi lời hứa Ngài.

6Linh hồn con trông mong Chúahơn người gác đêm chờ đợi bình minh.

7Hỡi Ít-ra-ên, hãy hy vọng nơi Chúa Hằng Hữu;vì Ngài có lòng nhân từ. Ban ân cứu chuộc dồi dào.

8Ngài sẽ cứu chuộc Ít-ra-ên,khỏi mọi tội lỗi.

A Song of degrees.

1Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
