1A Psalm of David, 'To cause to remember.' Jehovah, in Thy wrath reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.

2For Thine arrows have come down on me, And Thou lettest down upon me Thy hand.

3Soundness is not in my flesh, Because of Thine indignation, Peace is not in my bones because of my sin.

4For mine iniquities have passed over my head, As a heavy burden — too heavy for me.

5Stunk — become corrupt have my wounds, Because of my folly.

6I have been bent down, I have been bowed down — unto excess, All the day I have gone mourning.

7For my flanks have been full of drought, And soundness is not in my flesh.

8I have been feeble and smitten — unto excess, I have roared from disquietude of heart.

9Lord, before Thee [is] all my desire, And my sighing from Thee hath not been hid.

10My heart [is] panting, my power hath forsaken me, And the light of mine eyes, Even they are not with me.

11My lovers and my friends over-against my plague stand. And my neighbours afar off have stood.

12And those seeking my soul lay a snare, And those seeking my evil Have spoken mischievous things, And they do deceits meditate all the day.

13And I, as deaf, hear not. And as a dumb one who openeth not his mouth.

14Yea, I am as a man who heareth not, And in his mouth are no reproofs.

15Because for Thee, O Jehovah, I have waited, Thou dost answer, O Lord my God.

16When I said, 'Lest they rejoice over me, In the slipping of my foot against me they magnified themselves.

17For I am ready to halt, And my pain [is] before me continually.

18For mine iniquity I declare, I am sorry for my sin.

19And mine enemies [are] lively, They have been strong, and those hating me without cause, Have been multiplied.

20And those paying evil for good accuse me, Because of my pursuing good.

21Do not forsake me, O Jehovah, My God, be not far from me,

22Haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!

2đừng sửa trị con lúc nổi lôi đình.

3bàn tay Ngài giáng nặng xuống thân con.

4vì tội lỗi của con, mà xương con chẳng nơi đâu nguyên vẹn.

5như gánh nặng vượt quá sức con.

6bởi vì con điên cuồng ;

7suốt cả ngày con thiểu não lang thang.

8Ngang lưng đầy lửa bỏng, da thịt con không chỗ nào lành.

9tim thét gào thì miệng phải rống lên.

10tiếng con than thở, làm sao Chúa chẳng tường !

11mắt cũng chẳng còn sáng như xưa.

12bà con ruột thịt cũng đứng xa.

13suốt ngày chúng nghĩ kế phỉnh gạt con.

14tựa người câm, không hề mở miệng,

15chẳng một lời đối đáp ngoài môi.

16lạy Chúa là Thiên Chúa của con, chính Chúa sẽ đáp lời.

17cũng đừng lên mặt khi chân con lảo đảo.”

18nỗi khổ đau hằng canh cánh bên lòng.

19lỗi lầm vương phải, con áy náy băn khoăn.

20người vô lý ghét con thật quá nhiều !

21con theo đuổi điều lành, chúng lại tố cáo con.

22đừng nỡ xa con, lạy Thiên Chúa con thờ.

23Lạy Chúa cứu độ con, xin Ngài mau phù trợ.
