Khuyên Tránh Những Dâm Phụ

1Con ơi, để ý nghe lời khôn ngoan ta;lắng nghe cẩn thận những tư tưởng sáng suốt của ta.

2Để con e dè thận trọng,và môi con đọng lời tri thức.

3Vì môi dâm phụ ngọt như mật ong,miệng lưỡi nó trơn tru hơn dầu.

4Nhưng về sau nó đắng như ngải cứu,nguy hiểm như gươm hai lưỡi.

5Chân nó đưa xuống âm ty;bước nó dẫn vào mộ địa.

6Nó không nghĩ đến con đường sống.Lối nó cong queo, nhưng nó không hay biết.

7Vậy, hỡi các con, hãy nghe ta.Đừng bỏ qua lời ta khuyên dạy:

8Hãy tránh dâm phụ thật xa!Đừng đến gần cửa nhà nó.

9Kẻo con sẽ trao cả thanh danh cho người khác,và năm tuổi con vào tay bọn bạo tàn.

10Kẻo người lạ no nê tài sản con,và công lao con làm giàu cho người khác.

11Kẻo đến cuối cùng của đời con, con than van rên rỉkhi thịt xương con bị tiêu mòn.

12Con sẽ nói: “Sao ta coi khinh sự khuyên răn!Và xem thường sự sửa phạt!

13Sao ta không chịu vâng lời thầy?Không lắng tai nghe người dạy dỗ ta?

14Hầu như ta bị mọi tai ương,giữa cộng đồng và hội chúng.”

15Hãy uống nước nơi bể con chứa—nước chảy trong giếng của con,

16Lẽ nào dòng suối con để chảy tràn trên đường phố?Những dòng nước con tuôn ra nơi công cộng đông người?

17Nước ấy là của riêng con.Đừng chia sớt cho người lạ.

18Nguyện suối nước của con được hưởng phước.Con hãy vui với vợ cưới lúc thanh xuân.

19Nàng như nai tơ dễ thương, hươu con duyên dáng.Ngực nàng làm con mãn nguyện luôn luôn, Tình yêu nàng, con đắm say mãi mãi.

20Con ơi, sao dại dột mê dâm phụ,sao con ôm ấp người nữ xa lạ?

21Vì đường lối con người, Chúa Hằng Hữu đều thấy rõ,Ngài xem xét mọi hướng người đi.

22Người ác sẽ bị chính việc ác mình sập bẫy;họ sẽ bị tội lỗi mình trói buộc.

23Hắn sẽ chết vì không nghe răn dạy;hắn sẽ bị lầm lạc vì quá điên rồ.

1My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

2That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

3¶ For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

4But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

5Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

6Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

7Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

8Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

9Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

10Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;

11And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

12And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

13And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

14I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

15¶ Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

16Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

17Let them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with thee.

18Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

19Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

20And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

21For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.

22¶ His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

23He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
