Khải Huyền

1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and it was said to me: Arise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar and them that adore therein.

2But the court, which is without the temple, cast out, and measure it not: because it is given unto the Gentiles, and the holy city they shall tread under foot two and forty months:

3And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks, that stand before the Lord of the earth.

5And if any man will hurt them, fire shall come out of their mouths, and shall devour their enemies. And if any man will hurt them, in this manner must he be slain.

6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and they have power over waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues as often as they will.

7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast, that ascendeth out of the abyss, shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified.

9And they of the tribes, and peoples, and tongues, and nations, shall see their bodies for three days and a half: and they shall not suffer their bodies to be laid in sepulchres.

10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry: and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt upon the earth.

11And after three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them that saw them.

12And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them: Come up hither. And they went up to heaven in a cloud: and their enemies saw them.

13And at that hour there was made a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell: and there were slain in the earthquake names of men seven thousand: and the rest were cast into a fear, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14The second woe is past: and behold the third woe will come quickly.

15And the seventh angel sounded the trumpet: and there were great voices in heaven, saying: The kingdom of this world is become our Lord’s and his Christ’s, and he shall reign for ever and ever. Amen.

16And the four and twenty ancients, who sit on their seats in the sight of God, fell on their faces and adored God, saying:

17We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art, and who wast, and who art to come: because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and thou hast reigned.

18And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest render reward to thy servants the prophets and the saints, and to them that fear thy name, little and great, and shouldest destroy them who have corrupted the earth.

19And the temple of God was opened in heaven: and the ark of his testament was seen in his temple, and there were lightnings, and voices, and an earthquake, and great hail.

1Bấy giờ tôi nhận được một cây sậy, giống như một cái gậy, và nghe bảo : “Hãy đứng dậy mà đo Đền Thờ Thiên Chúa và bàn thờ cùng với những người đang thờ phượng trong đó.

2Nhưng tiền đình phía ngoài của Đền Thờ, thì bỏ đi, đừng đo, vì chỗ ấy đã được phó mặc cho dân ngoại, chúng sẽ chà đạp Thành Thánh trong vòng bốn mươi hai tháng.

3Trong vòng một ngàn hai trăm sáu mươi ngày ấy, Ta sẽ cho hai chứng nhân của Ta đến tuyên sấm, mình mặc áo vải thô.”

4Đó là hai cây ô-liu và hai cây đèn đứng trước nhan Chúa Tể cõi đất.

5Nếu ai muốn làm hại các ngài, thì lửa sẽ từ miệng các ngài phát ra và thiêu huỷ thù địch của các ngài. Ai muốn làm hại các ngài, sẽ bị giết như thế.

6Các ngài có quyền đóng cửa trời lại, khiến mưa không rơi xuống trong những ngày các ngài làm ngôn sứ. Các ngài cũng có quyền biến nước thành máu và gieo tai giáng hoạ xuống mặt đất, bao nhiêu lần tuỳ ý.

7Khi các ngài đã hoàn thành nhiệm vụ làm chứng, thì Con Thú từ vực thẳm sẽ lên tấn công các ngài, nó sẽ thắng và giết các ngài.

8Thi hài của các ngài sẽ nằm ở quảng trường của thành phố vĩ đại ; thành phố ấy mang tên tượng trưng là Xơ-đôm và Ai-cập, ở chính nơi Chúa của các ngài đã chịu đóng đinh vào thập giá.

9Từ các dân, các nước, các ngôn ngữ và các chi tộc, người ta sẽ đến nhìn xem thi hài các ngài trong ba ngày rưỡi và không cho phép chôn các ngài trong mộ.

10Những người sống trên mặt đất hân hoan vì các ngài đã chết, họ sẽ ăn mừng và tặng quà nhau, vì hai ngôn sứ này đã làm khổ họ.

11Sau ba ngày rưỡi, sinh khí từ Thiên Chúa đến nhập vào các ngài, và các ngài đứng dậy được. Những kẻ đang nhìn các ngài đều kinh hãi.

12Rồi các ngài nghe một tiếng lớn từ trời bảo : “Hãy lên đây !” Và các ngài lên trời trong đám mây, trước mắt thù địch của các ngài.

13Ngay giờ ấy, xảy ra một trận động đất mạnh ; một phần mười thành phố bị sụp đổ và bảy ngàn người bị giết trong cơn động đất. Những người còn lại thì sợ hãi và tôn vinh Thiên Chúa trên trời.

14Cái Khốn thứ hai đã qua, thì này cái Khốn thứ ba lại sắp đến.

15Tiếng kèn của thiên thần thứ bảy nổi lên. Trên trời có những tiếng lớn nói rằng : “Vương quyền trên thế gian nay đã thuộc về Chúa chúng ta và Đức Ki-tô của Người ; Người sẽ hiển trị đến muôn thuở muôn đời.”

16Hai mươi bốn vị Kỳ Mục ngồi trên ngai trước nhan Thiên Chúa, liền sấp mặt xuống, phủ phục mà thờ lạy Thiên Chúa.

17và lên ngôi hiển trị.

18những kẻ nào huỷ hoại mặt đất.”

19Đền Thờ Thiên Chúa ở trên trời mở ra, và Hòm Bia Giao Ước xuất hiện trong Đền Thờ. Và có ánh chớp, tiếng sấm tiếng sét, động đất và mưa đá lớn.
