扫罗的转变

1扫罗仍然向主的门徒口吐威吓凶杀的话，去见大祭司，

2求文书给大马士革的各会堂，若是找着信奉这道的人，无论男女，都准他捆绑带到耶路撒冷。

3扫罗行路，将到大马士革，忽然从天上发光，四面照着他；

4他就仆倒在地，听见有声音对他说：「扫罗！扫罗！你为什么逼迫我？」

5他说：「主啊！你是谁？」主说：「我就是你所逼迫的耶稣。

6起来！进城去，你所当做的事，必有人告诉你。」

7同行的人站在那里，说不出话来，听见声音，却看不见人。

8扫罗从地上起来，睁开眼睛，竟不能看见什么。有人拉他的手，领他进了大马士革；

9三日不能看见，也不吃也不喝。

10当下，在大马士革有一个门徒，名叫亚拿尼亚。主在异象中对他说：「亚拿尼亚。」他说：「主，我在这里。」

11主对他说：「起来！往直街去，在犹大的家里，访问一个大数人，名叫扫罗。他正祷告，

12又看见了一个人，名叫亚拿尼亚，进来按手在他身上，叫他能看见。」

13亚拿尼亚回答说：「主啊，我听见许多人说，这人怎样在耶路撒冷多多苦害你的圣徒，

14并且他在这里有从祭司长得来的权柄捆绑一切求告你名的人。」

15主对亚拿尼亚说：「你只管去！他是我所拣选的器皿，要在外邦人和君王，并以色列人面前宣扬我的名。

16我也要指示他，为我的名必须受许多的苦难。」

17亚拿尼亚就去了，进入那家，把手按在扫罗身上，说：「兄弟扫罗，在你来的路上向你显现的主，就是耶稣，打发我来，叫你能看见，又被圣灵充满。」

18扫罗的眼睛上，好像有鳞立刻掉下来，他就能看见。于是起来受了洗；

19吃过饭就健壮了。 扫罗在大马士革传道 扫罗和大马士革的门徒同住了些日子，

20就在各会堂里宣传耶稣，说他是 神的儿子。

21凡听见的人都惊奇，说：「在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的，不是这人吗？并且他到这里来，特要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里。」

22但扫罗越发有能力，驳倒住大马士革的犹太人，证明耶稣是基督。

未受犹太人的谋害

23过了好些日子，犹太人商议要杀扫罗，

24但他们的计谋被扫罗知道了。他们又昼夜在城门守候，要杀他。

25他的门徒就在夜间用筐子把他从城墙上缒下去。

扫罗在耶路撒冷

26扫罗到了耶路撒冷，想与门徒结交，他们却都怕他，不信他是门徒。

27惟有巴拿巴接待他，领去见使徒，把他在路上怎么看见主，主怎么向他说话，他在大马士革怎么奉耶稣的名放胆传道，都述说出来。

28于是扫罗在耶路撒冷和门徒出入来往，

29奉主的名放胆传道，并与说希腊话的犹太人讲论辩驳；他们却想法子要杀他。

30弟兄们知道了就送他下凯撒利亚，打发他往大数去。

31那时，犹太、加利利、撒马利亚各处的教会都得平安，被建立；凡事敬畏主，蒙圣灵的安慰，人数就增多了。

以尼雅得医治

32彼得周流四方的时候，也到了居住吕大的圣徒那里；

33遇见一个人，名叫以尼雅，得了瘫痪，在褥子上躺卧八年。

34彼得对他说：「以尼雅，耶稣基督医好你了，起来！收拾你的褥子。」他就立刻起来了。

35凡住吕大和沙 的人都看见了他，就归服主。

多加复活

36在约帕有一个女徒，名叫大比大，翻希腊话就是多加；她广行善事，多施周济。

37当时，她患病而死，有人把她洗了，停在楼上。

38吕大原与约帕相近；门徒听见彼得在那里，就打发两个人去见他，央求他说：「快到我们那里去，不要耽延。」

39彼得就起身和他们同去；到了，便有人领他上楼。众寡妇都站在彼得旁边哭，拿多加与她们同在时所做的里衣外衣给他看。

40彼得叫她们都出去，就跪下祷告，转身对着死人说：「大比大，起来！」她就睁开眼睛，见了彼得，便坐起来。

41彼得伸手扶她起来，叫众圣徒和寡妇进去，把多加活活地交给他们。

42这事传遍了约帕，就有许多人信了主。

43此后，彼得在约帕一个硝皮匠西门的家里住了多日。

1And Saul, as yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,

2And asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues: that if he found any men and women of this way, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

3And as he went on his journey, it came to pass that he drew nigh to Damascus; and suddenly a light from heaven shined round about him.

4And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

5Who said: Who art thou, Lord? And he: I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. It is hard for thee to kick against the goad.

6And he trembling and astonished, said: Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?

7And the Lord said to him: Arise, and go into the city, and there it shall be told thee what thou must do. Now the men who went in company with him, stood amazed, hearing indeed a voice, but seeing no man.

8And Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. But they leading him by the hands, brought him to Damascus.

9And he was there three days, without sight, and he did neither eat nor drink.

10Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias. And the Lord said to him in a vision: Ananias. And he said: Behold I am here, Lord.

11And the Lord said to him: Arise, and go into the street that is called Stait, and seek in the house of Judas, one named Saul of Tarsus. For behold he prayeth.

12(And he saw a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hands upon him, that he might receive his sight.)

13But Ananias answered: Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints in Jerusalem.

14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that invoke thy name.

15And the Lord said to him: Go thy way; for this man is to me a vessel of election, to carry my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.

16For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house. And laying his hands upon him, he said: Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus hath sent me, he that appeared to thee in the way as thou camest; that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

18And immediately there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and rising up, he was baptized.

19And when he had taken meat, he was strengthened. And he was with the disciples that were at Damascus, for some days.

20And immediately he preached Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

21And all that heard him, were astonished, and said: Is not this he who persecuted in Jerusalem those that called upon this name: and came hither for that intent, that he might carry them bound to the chief priests?

22But Saul increased much more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt at Damascus, affirming that this is the Christ.

23And when many days were passed, the Jews consulted together to kill him.

24But their laying in wait was made known to Saul. And they watched the gates also day and night, that they might kill him.

25But the disciples taking him in the night, conveyed him away by the wall, letting him down in a basket.

26And when he was come into Jerusalem, he essayed to join himself to the disciples; and they all were afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.

27But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and told them how he had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken to him; and how in Damascus he had dealt confidently in the name of Jesus.

28And he was with them coming in and going out in Jerusalem, and dealing confidently in the name of the Lord.

29He spoke also to the Gentiles, and disputed with the Greeks; but they sought to kill him.

30Which when the brethren had known, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him away to Tarsus.

31Now the church had peace throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria; and was edified, walking in the fear of the Lord, and was filled with the consolation of the Holy Ghost.

32And it came to pass that Peter, as he passed through, visiting all, came to the saints who dwelt at Lydda.

33And he found there a certain man named Eneas, who had kept his bed for eight years, who was ill of the palsy.

34And Peter said to him: Eneas, the Lord Jesus Christ healeth thee: arise, and make thy bed. And immediately he arose.

35And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron, saw him: who were converted to the Lord.

36And in Joppe there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

37And it came to pass in those days that she was sick, and died. Whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

38And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppe, the disciples hearing that Peter was there, sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not be slack to come unto them.

39And Peter rising up, went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber. And all the widows stood about him weeping, and shewing him the coats and garments which Dorcas made them.

40And they all being put forth, Peter kneeling down prayed, and turning to the body, he said: Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and seeing Peter, she sat up.

41And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And when he had called the saints and the widows, he presented her alive.

42And it was made known throughout all Joppe; and many believed in the Lord.

43And it came to pass, that he abode many days in Joppe, with one Simon a tanner.
