Psalms

1A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.

2Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.

3The voice of Jehovah [is] on the waters, The God of glory hath thundered, Jehovah [is] on many waters.

4The voice of Jehovah [is] with power, The voice of Jehovah [is] with majesty,

5The voice of Jehovah [is] shivering cedars, Yea, Jehovah shivers the cedars of Lebanon.

6And He causeth them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems,

7The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames,

8The voice of Jehovah paineth a wilderness, Jehovah paineth the wilderness of Kadesh.

9The voice of Jehovah paineth the oaks, And maketh bare the forests, And in His temple every one saith, 'Glory.'

10Jehovah on the deluge hath sat, And Jehovah sitteth king — to the age,

11Jehovah strength to his people giveth, Jehovah blesseth His people with peace!

1Hỡi các con của Đức Chúa Trời, Hãy tôn Đức Giê-hô-va vinh hiển và quyền năng.

2Hãy tôn Đức Giê-hô-va vinh hiển xứng đáng cho danh Ngài; Hãy mặc trang sức thánh mà thờ lạy Đức Giê-hô-va.

3Tiếng Đức Giê-hô-va dội trên các nước; Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời vinh hiển sấm sét Trên các nước sâu.

4Tiếng Đức Giê-hô-va rất mạnh; Tiếng Đức Giê-hô-va có sự oai nghiêm.

5Tiếng Đức Giê-hô-va bẻ gãy cây hương nam: Phải Đức Giê-hô-va bẻ gãy cây hương nam Li-ban,

6Ngài khiến nó nhảy như bò con, Li-ban và Si-ri-ôn nhảy như bò tót tơ.

7Tiếng Đức Giê-hô-va khiến những lằn lửa văng ra.

8Tiếng Đức Giê-hô-va làm cho đồng vắng rúng động; Đức Giê-hô-va khiến đồng vắng Ca-đe rúng động.

9Tiếng Đức Giê-hô-va khiến con nai cái sanh đẻ, Và làm cho trụi các rừng; Trong đền Ngài thay thảy đều hô rằng: Vinh hiển thay!

10Đức Giê-hô-va ngự trên nước lụt; Phải, Đức Giê-hô-va ngự ngôi vua đến đời đời.

11Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ ban sức mạnh cho dân sự Ngài; Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ chúc phước bình an cho dân sự Ngài.
