Tấn Phong cho Thầy Tế Lễ

1Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se:

2“Hãy đem A-rôn và các con trai người đến trước cửa Đền Tạm, cũng mang theo các bộ áo lễ, dầu xức thánh, giỏ bánh không men, con bò đực tơ làm sinh tế chuộc tội, và hai con chiên đực.

3Đồng thời hãy triệu tập toàn dân tại đó.”

4Môi-se vâng lời Chúa Hằng Hữu. Toàn dân tập họp tại cửa Đền Tạm.

5Môi-se tuyên bố: “Những điều tôi sắp làm đây đều theo lệnh Chúa Hằng Hữu!”

6Môi-se lấy nước rửa cho A-rôn và các con trai người.

7Ông mặc áo, thắt lưng cho A-rôn, lại mặc áo dài, ê-phót với thắt lưng thêu đẹp đẽ.

8Môi-se cũng đeo bảng đeo ngực vào cho A-rôn, đặt U-rim và Thu-mim vào trong bảng đeo ngực,

9đội khăn lên đầu, đeo thẻ vàng trên khăn về phía trước, đó là mão miện thánh, đúng theo điều Chúa Hằng Hữu phán dạy Môi-se.

10Môi-se lấy dầu thánh xức cho Đền Tạm và mọi vật bên trong để thánh hóa.

11Ông rảy dầu bảy lần trên bàn thờ, ông cũng rảy dầu trên các dụng cụ của bàn thờ, bồn nước, và chân bồn để thánh hóa và hiến dâng các vật này.

12Môi-se đổ dầu thánh trên đầu A-rôn, như vậy A-rôn hiến thân phục vụ Chúa.

13Môi-se cũng mặc áo dài cho các con trai A-rôn, thắt lưng, đội khăn cho họ như Chúa Hằng Hữu đã phán bảo ông.

14Rồi ông dắt con bò tơ đực dùng làm sinh tế chuộc tội đến, A-rôn và các con trai người đặt tay trên đầu nó.

15Môi-se giết con bò, dùng ngón tay bôi máu nó trên các sừng bàn thờ để thánh hóa bàn thờ. Máu còn lại ông đem đổ dưới chân bàn thờ. Vậy, ông làm lễ chuộc tội và thánh hóa bàn thờ.

16Ông Môi-se lấy tất cả mỡ bọc bộ lòng, túi mật, hai trái thận, và mỡ bao quanh thận đem đốt trên bàn thờ.

17Phần còn lại của con bò gồm da, thịt, phân được ông đem ra khỏi nơi đóng trại đốt đi, như Chúa Hằng Hữu đã phán bảo Môi-se.

18Sau đó, Môi-se dắt con chiên dùng làm sinh tế lễ thiêu đến. A-rôn và các con trai người đặt tay trên đầu nó.

19Môi-se giết con chiên này, lấy máu rảy bốn cạnh bàn thờ.

20Ông chặt con chiên ra từng miếng, rồi thiêu cái đầu và mỡ của nó chung với các miếng thịt này.

21Môi-se đem bộ lòng và chân chiên rửa sạch, đem thiêu trên bàn thờ. Như vậy, cả con chiên được thiêu trên bàn thờ. Đó là tế lễ thiêu, dùng lửa dâng hương thơm lên Chúa Hằng Hữu, đúng theo điều Chúa Hằng Hữu đã phán bảo ông.

22Môi-se dắt con chiên dùng làm sinh tế tấn phong đến. A-rôn và các con trai người đặt tay trên đầu nó.

23Môi-se giết chiên, lấy máu bôi trên trái tai bên phải, ngón cái tay phải và ngón cái chân phải của A-rôn.

24Môi-se cũng bôi máu trên trái tai bên phải, trên ngón cái tay phải và ngón cái chân phải của các con trai A-rôn. Máu còn lại, ông đem rảy khắp bốn cạnh bàn thờ.

25Môi-se lấy mỡ chiên, gồm mỡ đuôi, mỡ bọc bộ lòng, với túi mật, hai trái thận và mỡ bao quanh thận, cái đùi phải của con chiên.

26Ông cũng lấy từ trong giỏ đựng bánh ở trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu một ổ bánh không men, một ổ bánh có pha dầu và một bánh kẹp, đem để các bánh này bên trên mỡ và cái đùi phải của con chiên.

27Ông đặt tất cả các món trên trong tay A-rôn và các con trai người để họ dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu theo cách đưa qua đưa lại.

28Xong, họ trao các món ấy lại cho Môi-se, để ông đem đốt trên bàn thờ chung với sinh tế lễ thiêu, dùng lửa dâng hương thơm lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.

29Môi-se lấy cái ức con chiên dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu theo cách đưa qua đưa lại. Cái ức chiên dâng làm lễ tấn phong sẽ thuộc về Môi-se, như Chúa Hằng Hữu đã phán bảo ông.

30Bấy giờ, Môi-se lấy dầu xức thánh và một ít máu trên bàn thờ đem rảy trên A-rôn và trên áo ông, cũng rảy trên các con trai A-rôn và trên áo họ. Như vậy A-rôn, các con trai người và các bộ áo lễ được thánh hóa.

31Môi-se nói với A-rôn và các con trai người: “Nấu thịt tại cửa Đền Tạm để ăn với bánh ở trong giỏ dùng trong lễ tấn phong, như tôi đã dặn trước.

32Thịt và bánh còn thừa phải đem đốt đi.”

33Ông cũng dặn họ không được ra khỏi cửa Lều Hội Kiến suốt trong bảy ngày, cho đến ngày kỳ lễ tấn phong kết thúc, vì lễ này kéo dài bảy ngày.

34Ông cho họ biết, tất cả việc ông làm hôm nay đều do Chúa Hằng Hữu truyền dạy để chuộc tội cho họ.

35Vậy họ phải túc trực đêm ngày tại cửa Đền Tạm trong bảy ngày như lời Chúa Hằng Hữu phán dạy, nếu không họ sẽ chết.

36A-rôn và các con trai người vâng theo mọi lời Chúa Hằng Hữu đã phán bảo Môi-se.

1And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2'Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened things,

3and all the company assemble thou unto the opening of the tent of meeting.'

4And Moses doth as Jehovah hath commanded him, and the company is assembled unto the opening of the tent of meeting,

5and Moses saith unto the company, 'This [is] the thing which Jehovah hath commanded to do.'

6And Moses bringeth near Aaron and his sons, and doth bathe them with water,

7and doth put on him the coat, and doth gird him with the girdle, and doth clothe him with the upper robe, and doth put on him the ephod, and doth gird him with the girdle of the ephod, and doth bind [it] to him with it,

8and doth put on him the breastplate, and doth put unto the breastplate the Lights and the Perfections,

9and doth put the mitre on his head, and doth put on the mitre, over-against its front, the golden flower of the holy crown, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

10And Moses taketh the anointing oil, and anointeth the tabernacle, and all that [is] in it, and sanctifieth them;

11and he sprinkleth of it on the altar seven times, and anointeth the altar, and all its vessels, and the laver, and its base, to sanctify them;

12and he poureth of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron, and anointeth him to sanctify him.

13And Moses bringeth near the sons of Aaron, and doth clothe them [with] coats, and girdeth them [with] girdles, and bindeth for them turbans, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

14And he bringeth nigh the bullock of the sin-offering, and Aaron layeth — his sons also — their hands on the head of the bullock of the sin-offering,

15and [one] slaughtereth, and Moses taketh the blood, and putteth on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and cleanseth the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar, and sanctifieth it, to make atonement upon it.

16And he taketh all the fat that [is] on the inwards, and the redundance above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses maketh Perfume on the altar,

17and the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he hath burnt with fire, at the outside of the camp, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

18And he bringeth near the ram of the burnt-offering, and Aaron and his sons lay their hands on the head of the ram,

19and [one] slaughtereth, and Moses sprinkleth the blood on the altar round about;

20and the ram he hath cut into its pieces, and Moses maketh perfume with the head, and the pieces, and the fat,

21and the inwards and the legs he hath washed with water, and Moses maketh perfume with the whole ram on the altar; it [is] a burnt-offering, for sweet fragrance; it [is] a fire-offering to Jehovah, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

22And he bringeth near the second ram, a ram of the consecrations, and Aaron and his sons lay their hands on the head of the ram,

23and [one] slaughtereth, and Moses taketh of its blood, and putteth on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;

24and he bringeth near the sons of Aaron, and Moses putteth of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot. And Moses sprinkleth the blood on the altar round about,

25and taketh the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that [is] on the inwards, and the redundance above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right leg;

26and out of the basket of unleavened things, which [is] before Jehovah, he hath taken one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one thin cake, and putteth [them] on the fat, and on the right leg;

27and putteth the whole on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and waveth them — a wave-offering before Jehovah.

28And Moses taketh them from off their hands, and maketh perfume on the altar, on the burnt-offering, they [are] consecrations for sweet fragrance; it [is] a fire-offering to Jehovah;

29and Moses taketh the breast, and waveth it — a wave-offering before Jehovah; of the ram of the consecrations it hath been to Moses for a portion, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

30And Moses taketh of the anointing oil, and of the blood which [is] on the altar, and sprinkleth on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him, and he sanctifieth Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

31And Moses saith unto Aaron, and unto his sons, 'Boil ye the flesh at the opening of the tent of meeting, and there ye do eat it and the bread which [is] in the basket of the consecrations, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons do eat it.

32'And the remnant of the flesh and of the bread with fire ye burn;

33and from the opening of the tent of meeting ye go not out seven days, till the day of the fulness, the days of your consecration — for seven days he doth consecrate your hand;

34as he hath done on this day, Jehovah hath commanded to do, to make atonement for you;

35and at the opening of the tent of meeting ye abide, by day and by night seven days, and ye have kept the charge of Jehovah, and die not, for so I have been commanded.'

36And Aaron doth — his sons also — all the things which Jehovah hath commanded by the hand of Moses.
