在以哥念传道

1二人在以哥念同进犹太人的会堂，在那里讲的，叫犹太人和希腊人信的很多。

2但那不顺从的犹太人耸动外邦人，叫他们心里恼恨弟兄。

3二人在那里住了多日，倚靠主放胆讲道，主借他们的手施行神迹奇事，证明他的恩道。

4城里的众人就分了党，有附从犹太人的，有附从使徒的。

5那时，外邦人和犹太人，并他们的官长，一齐拥上来，要凌辱使徒，用石头打他们。

6使徒知道了，就逃往吕高尼的路司得、特庇两个城和周围地方去，

7在那里传福音。

在路司得传道

8路司得城里坐着一个两脚无力的人，生来是瘸腿的，从来没有走过。

9他听保罗讲道，保罗定睛看他，见他有信心，可得痊愈，

10就大声说：「你起来，两脚站直！」那人就跳起来，而且行走。

11众人看见保罗所做的事，就用吕高尼的话大声说：「有神借着人形降临在我们中间了。」

12于是称巴拿巴为宙斯，称保罗为希耳米，因为他说话领首。

13有城外宙斯庙的祭司牵着牛，拿着花圈，来到门前，要同众人向使徒献祭。

14巴拿巴、保罗二使徒听见，就撕开衣裳，跳进众人中间，喊着说：

15「诸君，为什么做这事呢？我们也是人，性情和你们一样。我们传福音给你们，是叫你们离弃这些虚妄，归向那创造天、地、海，和其中万物的永生 神。

16他在从前的世代，任凭万国各行其道；

17然而为自己未尝不显出证据来，就如常施恩惠，从天降雨，赏赐丰年，叫你们饮食饱足，满心喜乐。」

18二人说了这些话，仅仅地拦住众人不献祭与他们。

19但有些犹太人从安提阿和以哥念来，挑唆众人，就用石头打保罗，以为他是死了，便拖到城外。

20门徒正围着他，他就起来，走进城去。 回到叙利亚的安提阿 第二天，同巴拿巴往特庇去，

21对那城里的人传了福音，使好些人作门徒，就回路司得、以哥念、安提阿去，

22坚固门徒的心，劝他们恒守所信的道；又说：「我们进入 神的国，必须经历许多艰难。」

23二人在各教会中选立了长老，又禁食祷告，就把他们交托所信的主。

24二人经过彼西底，来到旁非利亚。

25在别加讲了道，就下亚大利去，

26从那里坐船，往安提阿去。当初，他们被众人所托、蒙 神之恩、要办现在所做之工，就是在这地方。

27到了那里，聚集了会众，就述说 神借他们所行的一切事，并 神怎样为外邦人开了信道的门。

28二人就在那里同门徒住了多日。

1And it came to pass in Iconium, that they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a very great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks did believe.

2But the unbelieving Jews stirred up and incensed the minds of the Gentiles against the brethren.

3A long time therefore they abode there, dealing confidently in the Lord, who gave testimony to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

4And the multitude of the city was divided; and some of them indeed held with the Jews, but some with the apostles.

5And when there was an assault made by the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to use them contumeliously, and to stone them:

6They understanding it, fled to Lystra, and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the whole country round about, and were there preaching the gospel.

7And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked.

8This same heard Paul speaking. Who looking upon him, and seeing that he had faith to be healed,

9Said with a loud voice: Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped up, and walked.

10And when the multitudes had seen what Paul had done, they lifted up their voice in the Lycaonian tongue, saying: The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men;

11And they called Barnabas, Jupiter: but Paul, Mercury; because he was chief speaker.

12The priest also of Jupiter that was before the city, bringing oxen and garlands before the gate, would have offered sacrifice with the people.

13Which, when the apostles Barnabas and Paul had heard, rending their clothes, they leaped out among the people, crying,

14And saying: Ye men, why do ye these things? We also are mortals, men like unto you, preaching to you to be converted from these vain things, to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them:

15Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

16Nevertheless he left not himself without testimony, doing good from heaven, giving rains and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

17And speaking these things, they scarce restrained the people from sacrificing to them.

18Now there came thither certain Jews from Antioch, and Iconium: and persuading the multitude, and stoning Paul, drew him out of the city, thinking him to be dead.

19But as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up and entered into the city, and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

20And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch:

21Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith: and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

22And when they had ordained to them priests in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed.

23And passing through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia.

24And having spoken the word of the Lord in Perge, they went down into Attalia:

25And thence they sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been delivered to the grace of God, unto the work which they accomplished.

26And when they were come, and had assembled the church, they related what great things God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

27And they abode no small time with the disciples.
