Job

1Then Job answered,

2“How have you helped him who is without power!How have you saved the arm that has no strength!

3How have you counselled him who has no wisdom,and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

4To whom have you uttered words?Whose spirit came out of you?

5“The departed spirits tremble,those beneath the waters and all that live in them.

6Sheolis naked before God,and Abaddonhas no covering.

7He stretches out the north over empty space,and hangs the earth on nothing.

8He binds up the waters in his thick clouds,and the cloud is not burst under them.

9He encloses the face of his throne,and spreads his cloud on it.

10He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters,and to the confines of light and darkness.

11The pillars of heaven trembleand are astonished at his rebuke.

12He stirs up the sea with his power,and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

13By his Spirit the heavens are garnished.His hand has pierced the swift serpent.

14Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways.How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

1Gióp cất tiếng đáp rằng:

2Ngươi đã phù trợ kẻ không quyền dường nào! Tiếp cứu cánh tay chẳng sức lực,

3Khuyên luận kẻ vô tri, Và tỏ biết bao sự khôn sáng chân thật!

4Người đã giảng luận cho ai? Linh hồn của ai bởi ngươi mà ra?

5Kẻ qua đời run rảy Dưới nước lớn, và muôn vật ở đó cũng vậy.

6Aâm phủ bày lộ ra trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời, Và vực sâu không màn che khuất,

7Chúa trải bắc cực ra trên vùng trống, Treo trái đất trong khoảng không không.

8Ngài ém nước trong các áng mây Ngài, Mà áng mây không bứt ra vì nước ấy.

9Ngài che khuất bề mặt của ngai Ngài, Và trải mây Ngài ở trên nó.

10Ngài đã vẽ một vòng tròn trên mặt nước, Cho đến nơi giới cực của ánh sáng và tối tăm giáp nhau.

11Những trụ của các từng trời rúng động, Và sững sờ khi Đức Chúa Trời hăm dọa.

12Ngài lấy quyền năng mình mà khiến biển dậy lên, Và nhờ sự khôn ngoan mình mà đánh vỡ Ra-háp.

13Thần Chúa điểm trang các từng trời; Tay Chúa đấm lũng rắn thoảng qua lẹ.

14Kìa, ấy chỉ là biên giới của các đường lối Ngài; Ta được nghe tiếng nói về Chúa xầm xì nhỏ thay! Nhưng ai hiểu rõ tiếng sấm của quyền năng Ngài?
