耶路撒冷的混乱

1主—万军之耶和华从耶路撒冷和犹大， 除掉众人所倚靠的，所仗赖的， 就是所倚靠的粮，所仗赖的水；

2除掉勇士和战士， 审判官和先知， 占卜的和长老，

3五十夫长和尊贵人， 谋士和有巧艺的， 以及妙行法术的。

4主说：我必使孩童作他们的首领， 使婴孩辖管他们。

5百姓要彼此欺压； 各人受邻舍的欺压。 少年人必侮慢老年人； 卑贱人必侮慢尊贵人。

6人在父家拉住弟兄，说： 你有衣服，可以作我们的官长。 这败落的事归在你手下吧！

7那时，他必扬声说： 我不作医治你们的人； 因我家中没有粮食，也没有衣服， 你们不可立我作百姓的官长。

8耶路撒冷败落， 犹大倾倒； 因为他们的舌头和行为与耶和华反对， 惹了他荣光的眼目。

9他们的面色证明自己的不正； 他们述说自己的罪恶，并不隐瞒， 好像所多玛一样。 他们有祸了！因为作恶自害。

10你们要论义人说：他必享福乐， 因为要吃自己行为所结的果子。

11恶人有祸了！他必遭灾难！ 因为要照自己手所行的受报应。

12至于我的百姓， 孩童欺压他们， 妇女辖管他们。 我的百姓啊，引导你的使你走错， 并毁坏你所行的道路。

耶和华审判他的人民

13耶和华起来辩论， 站着审判众民。

14耶和华必审问他民中的长老和首领，说： 吃尽葡萄园果子的就是你们； 向贫穷人所夺的都在你们家中。

15主—万军之耶和华说： 你们为何压制我的百姓， 搓磨贫穷人的脸呢？

对耶路撒冷女子的警告

16耶和华又说： 因为锡安的女子狂傲， 行走挺项，卖弄眼目， 俏步徐行，脚下玎珰，

17所以，主必使锡安的女子头长秃疮； 耶和华又使她们赤露下体。

18到那日，主必除掉她们华美的脚钏、发网、月牙圈、

19耳环、手镯、蒙脸的帕子、

20华冠、足链、华带、香盒、符囊、

21戒指、鼻环、

22吉服、外套、云肩、荷包、

23手镜、细麻衣、裹头巾、蒙身的帕子。

24必有臭烂代替馨香， 绳子代替腰带， 光秃代替美发， 麻衣系腰代替华服， 烙伤代替美容。

25你的男丁必倒在刀下； 你的勇士必死在阵上。

26锡安的城门必悲伤、哀号； 她必荒凉坐在地上。

Judgment on Jerusalem and Judah

1For behold, the Lord GOD of Hostsis about to removefrom Jerusalem and Judahboth supplyand support:the whole supply of food and water,

2the mighty man and the warrior,the judge and the prophet,the soothsayer and the elder,

3the commander of fifty and the dignitary,the counselor, the cunning magician, and the clever enchanter.

4“I will make mere lads their leaders,and children will rule over them.”

5The people will oppress one another,man against man, neighbor against neighbor;the young will rise up against the old,and the base against the honorable.

6A man will seize his brotherwithin his father’s house:“You have a cloak—you be our leader!Take charge of this heap of rubble.”

7On that day he will cry aloud:“I am not a healer.I have no food or clothing in my house.Do not make me leader of the people!”

8For Jerusalem has stumbledand Judah has fallenbecause they spoke and acted against the LORD,defying His glorious presence.

9The expression on their faces testifies against them,and like Sodom they flaunt their sin; they do not conceal it.Woe to them,for they have brought disaster upon themselves.

10Tell the righteous it will be well with them,for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor.

11Woe to the wicked; disaster is upon them!For they will be repaid with what their hands have done.

12Youths oppress My people,and women rule over them.O My people, your guides mislead you;they turn you from your paths.

13The LORD arises to contend;He stands to judge the people.

14The LORD brings this chargeagainst the elders and leaders of His people:“You have devoured the vineyard;the plunder of the poor is in your houses.

15Why do you crush My peopleand grind the faces of the poor?”declares the Lord GOD of Hosts.

A Warning to the Daughters of Zion

16The LORD also says: “Because the daughters of Zion are haughty—walking with heads held high and wanton eyes,prancing and skipping as they go,jingling the bracelets on their ankles—

17the Lord will bring soreson the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will make their foreheads bare.”

18In that day the Lord will take away their finery:their anklets and headbands and crescents;

19their pendants, bracelets, and veils;

20their headdresses, ankle chains, and sashes;their perfume bottles and charms;

21their signet rings and nose rings;

22their festive robes, capes, cloaks, and purses;

23and their mirrors, linen garments, tiaras, and shawls.

24Instead of fragrancethere will be a stench;instead of a belt, a rope;instead of styled hair, baldness;instead of fine clothing, sackcloth;instead of beauty, shame.

25Your men will fall by the sword,and your warriors in battle.

26And the gates of Zion will lament and mourn;destitute, she will sit on the ground.
