Revelation

1And after these things I saw four messengers, standing upon the four corners of the land, holding the four winds of the land, that the wind may not blow upon the land, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree;

2and I saw another messenger going up from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God, and he did cry with a great voice to the four messengers, to whom it was given to injure the land and the sea, saying,

3'Do not injure the land, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we may seal the servants of our God upon their foreheads.'

4And I heard the number of those sealed, (one hundred and forty four thousands were sealed out of all the tribes of the sons of Israel):

5of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;

6of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;

7of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;

8of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

9After these things I saw, and lo, a great multitude, which to number no one was able, out of all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands,

10and crying with a great voice, saying, 'The salvation [is] to Him who is sitting upon the throne — to our God, and to the Lamb!'

11And all the messengers stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell upon their face, and bowed before God,

12saying, 'Amen! the blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honour, and the power, and the strength, [are] to our God — to the ages of the ages! Amen!'

13And answer did one of the elders, saying to me, 'These, who have been arrayed with the white robes — who are they, and whence came they?'

14and I have said to him, 'Sir, thou hast known;' and he said to me, 'These are those who are coming out of the great tribulation, and they did wash their robes, and they made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb;

15because of this are they before the throne of God, and they do service to Him day and night in His sanctuary, and He who is sitting upon the throne shall tabernacle over them;

16they shall not hunger any more, nor may the sun fall upon them, nor any heat,

17because the Lamb that [is] in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and wipe away shall God every tear from their eyes.'

1Sau việc ấy, tôi thấy bốn vị thiên sứ đứng ở bốn góc đất, cầm bốn hướng gió lại, hầu cho không gió nào thổi trên đất, trên biển hay là trên cây nào.

2Tôi lại thấy một vị thiên sứ khác, từ phía mặt trời mọc mà lên, cầm ấn của Đức Chúa Trời hằng sống. Người cả tiếng kêu bốn vị thiên sứ đã được quyền làm hại đất cùng biển,

3và bảo rằng: Chớ làm hại đất, biển và cây cối, cho đến chừng nào chúng ta đã đóng ấn trên trán những tôi tớ Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta.

4Tôi lại nghe số người được đóng ấn là: Mười bốn vạn bốn ngàn người được đóng ấn từ trong các chi phái dân Y-sơ-ra-ên;

5Trong chi phái Giu-đa, một vạn hai ngàn người được đóng ấn; Trong chi phái Ru-bên, một vạn hai ngàn; Trong chi phái Gát, một vạn hai ngàn;

6Trong chi phái A-se, một vạn hai ngàn; Trong chi phái Nép-ta-li, một vạn hai ngàn; Trong chi phái Ma-na-se, một vạn hai ngàn;

7Trong chi phái Si-mê-ôn, một vạn hai ngàn; Trong chi phái Lê-vi, một vạn hai ngàn; Trong chi phái Y-sa-ca, một vạn hai ngàn;

8Trong chi phái Sa-bu-lôn, một vạn hai ngàn; Trong chi phái Giô-sép, một vạn hai ngàn; Trong chi phái Bên-gia-min, một vạn hai ngàn đều được đóng ấn.

9Sự ấy đoạn, tôi nhìn xem, thấy vô số người, không ai đếm được, bởi mọi nước, mọi chi phái, mọi dân tộc, mọi tiếng mà ra; chúng đứng trước ngôi và trước Chiên Con, mặc áo dài trắng, tay cầm nhành chà là,

10cất tiếng lớn kêu rằng: Sự cứu rỗi thuộc về Đức Chúa Trời ta, là Đấng ngự trên ngôi, và thuộc về Chiên Con.

11Vả, hết thảy thiên sứ đứng vòng chung quanh ngôi và chung quanh các trưởng lão cùng bốn con sanh vật, sấp mặt xuống trước ngôi, và thờ lạy Đức Chúa Trời,

12mà rằng: A-men! Sự ngợi khen, vinh hiển, khôn ngoan, chúc tạ, tôn quí, quyền phép và sức mạnh đều về Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta đời đời vô cùng! A-men.

13Bấy giờ một trưởng lão cất tiếng nói với tôi rằng: những kẻ mặt áo dài trắng đó là ai, và bởi đâu mà đến?

14Tôi thưa rằng: Lạy chúa, chúa biết điều đó. Người lại phán cùng tôi rằng: Đó là những kẻ ra khỏi cơn đại nạn, đã giặt và phiếu trắng áo mình trong huyết Chiên Con.

15Aáy vì đó mà chúng được ở trước ngôi Đức Chúa Trời, và ngày đêm hầu việc Ngài trong đền Ngài; còn Đấng ngồi trên ngôi sẽ che chở chúng dưới trại Ngài.

16Chúng sẽ không đói không khát nữa; cũng không có mặt trời, hoặc cơn nắng gắt nào hại đến mình.

17Vì Chiên Con ở giữa ngôi sẽ chăn giữ và đưa chúng đến những suối nước sống; Đức Chúa Trời sẽ lau hết nước mắt nơi mắt chúng.
