YLTYoung's Literal TranslationTraduction principale

1A Song of the Ascents, by David. I have rejoiced in those saying to me, 'To the house of Jehovah we go.'

2Our feet have been standing in thy gates, O Jerusalem!

3Jerusalem — the builded one — [Is] as a city that is joined to itself together.

4For thither have tribes gone up, Tribes of Jah, companies of Israel, To give thanks to the name of Jehovah.

5For there have sat thrones of judgment, Thrones of the house of David.

6Ask ye the peace of Jerusalem, At rest are those loving thee.

7Peace is in thy bulwark, rest in thy high places,

8For the sake of my brethren and my companions, Let me speak, I pray thee, 'Peace [be] in thee.'

9For the sake of the house of Jehovah our God, I seek good for thee!

A Song of Ascents. By David.

1I was glad when they said to me,“Let’s go to the LORD’s house!”

2Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem!

3Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together,

4where the tribes go up, even the LORD’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the LORD’s name.

5For there are set thrones for judgement, the thrones of David’s house.

6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.

7Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.

8For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes,I will now say, “Peace be within you.”

9For the sake of the house of the LORD our God,I will seek your good.
