Sự Thờ Phụng trên Trời

1Sau đó, tôi nhìn lên. Này trên trời có một cái cửa mở ra. Tiếng nói vang dội như tiếng loa lúc đầu tôi đã nghe, lại bảo tôi: “Hãy lên đây, Ta sẽ cho con xem những việc phải xảy ra.”

2Lập tức, tôi được Thánh Linh cảm, nhìn thấy chiếc ngai trên trời, và có người ngồi trên ngai.

3Đấng ngồi trên ngai chiếu sáng như đá quý—như ngọc thạch anh và mã não đỏ. Có một cầu vồng trông như ngọc lục bảo bao quanh ngai.

4Chung quanh ngai là hai mươi bốn ngai khác, có hai mươi bốn trưởng lão đang ngồi, mặc áo trắng và đội vương miện vàng.

5Từ ngai phát ra chớp nhoáng cùng sấm sét vang động. Có bảy ngọn đèn cháy rực trước ngai, là bảy Thần Linh của Đức Chúa Trời.

6Phía trước ngai, có biển đầy thủy tinh, trong như pha lê. Quanh ngai có bốn sinh vật, phía trước và sau đều có nhiều mắt.

7Sinh vật thứ nhất giống như sư tử; sinh vật thứ hai như bò tơ; sinh vật thứ ba có mặt người; và sinh vật thứ tư như đại bàng đang bay.

8Mỗi sinh vật có sáu cánh, toàn thân và cánh đều có nhiều mắt. Ngày đêm các sinh vật tung hô không dứt:“Thánh thay, thánh thay, thánh thay, Chúa là Đức Chúa Trời, Đấng Toàn Năng—Đấng đã có, hiện có, và còn đời đời.”

9Mỗi khi các sinh vật tôn vinh, tung hô và cảm tạ Đấng ngồi trên ngai, (là Đấng hằng sống đời đời),

10thì hai mươi bốn trưởng lão quỳ xuống trước mặt Ngài, thờ lạy Ngài vĩnh viễn, vứt vương miện trước ngai và ca ngợi:

11“Lạy Chúa là Đức Chúa Trời của chúng con,Chúa đáng nhận vinh quang, vinh dự, và uy quyền.Vì Chúa đã sáng tạo vạn vật,do ý muốn Chúa, muôn vật được dựng nên và tồn tại.”

1After these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven; and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying, “Come up here, and I will show you the things which must happen after this.”

2Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne

3that looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at.

4Around the throne were twenty-four thrones. On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads.

5Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

6Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the middle of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

7The first creature was like a lion, the second creature like a calf, the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.

8The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holyis the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”

9When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever,

10the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying,

11“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One,to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed and were created!”
