The Two Paths

1Blessed is the manwho does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,or set foot on the path of sinners,or sit in the seat of mockers.

2But his delight is in the Law of the LORD,and on His law he meditates day and night.

3He is like a tree planted by streams of water,yielding its fruit in season,whose leaf does not wither,and who prospers in all he does.

4Not so the wicked!For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.

5Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6For the LORD guards the path of the righteous,but the way of the wicked will perish.

1Phước cho người nào chẳng theo mưu kế của kẻ dữ, Chẳng đứng trong đường tội nhân, Không ngồi chỗ của kẻ nhạo báng;

2Song lấy làm vui vẻ về luật pháp của Đức Giê-hô-va, Và suy gẫm luật pháp ấy ngày và đêm.

3Người ấy sẽ như cây trồng gần dòng nước, Sanh bông trái theo thì tiết, Lá nó cũng chẳng tàn héo; Mọi sự người làm đều sẽ thạnh vượng.

4Kẻ ác chẳng như vậy đâu; Nhưng chúng nó khác nào rơm rác gió thổi bay đi.

5Bởi cớ ấy kẻ ác chẳng đứng nổi trong ngày đoán xét, Tội nhân cũng không được vào hội người công bình.

6Vì Đức Giê-hô-va biết đường người công bình, Song đường kẻ ác rồi bị diệt vong.
