Một Nghìn Năm

1Tôi thấy một thiên sứ từ trời xuống, tay cầm chìa khóa của vực thẳm và một dây xiềng lớn.

2Thiên sứ bắt con rồng—tức là con rắn ngày xưa, cũng gọi là quỷ vương hay Sa-tan—xiềng lại một nghìn năm,

3quăng nó vào vực thẳm, khóa chặt và niêm phong. Suốt một nghìn năm, nó không còn lừa gạt các dân được nữa. Sau đó, nó lại được thả ra ít lâu.

4Tôi thấy có nhiều ngai, những người ngồi trên ngai được ủy quyền xét xử. Tôi cũng thấy linh hồn những người bị chém giết vì làm chứng cho Chúa Giê-xu và truyền giảng Đạo Đức Chúa Trời, những người không chịu thờ lạy con thú và tượng nó, không chịu ghi dấu hiệu nó trên trán và trên tay. Họ sống lại và cai trị thế giới suốt một nghìn năm với Chúa Cứu Thế.

5Đó là cuộc sống lại thứ nhất. (Lúc ấy, những người chết khác chưa sống lại, nhưng phải đợi một nghìn năm).

6Những người được dự phần trong cuộc sống lại thứ nhất thật hạnh phước và thánh thiện biết bao! Vì sự chết thứ hai chẳng có quyền gì trên họ, nhưng họ được làm thầy tế lễ của Đức Chúa Trời và Chúa Cứu Thế, cùng Ngài cai trị một nghìn năm.

Sa-tan Bại Trận

7Khi kỳ hạn một nghìn năm đã mãn, Sa-tan được thả ra khỏi ngục.

8Nó sẽ đi du thuyết khắp thế giới, cổ động mọi dân tộc liên minh với dân Gót và Ma-gót để chiến tranh. Quân đội chúng đông đảo như cát trên bờ biển.

9Chúng kéo quân tràn ngập khắp đất, bao vây dân Chúa và thành phố Ngài yêu quý. Nhưng lửa từ trời rơi xuống tiêu diệt đạo quân xâm lăng.

10Còn quỷ vương đã lừa gạt chúng bị quăng vào hồ lửa diêm sinh, là nơi con thú và tiên tri giả cũng bị cầm tù. Chúng bị đau đớn ngày đêm, mãi mãi vô tận.

Tòa Án Chung Thẩm

11Rồi tôi thấy một chiếc ngai lớn và trắng, cùng Đấng ngồi trên ngai. Trước mặt Chúa, trời đất đều chạy trốn, nhưng không tìm được chỗ ẩn nấp.

12Tôi thấy những người đã chết, cả lớn và nhỏ đều đứng trước ngai. Các cuốn sách đều mở ra, kể cả Sách Sự Sống. Người chết được xét xử tùy theo công việc thiện ác họ làm mà các sách đó đã ghi.

13Biển trao trả các thi hài nằm trong lòng biển. Tử vong và âm phủ cũng giao nộp người chết chúng giam cầm. Mỗi người bị xét xử tùy theo công việc mình đã làm.

14Tử vong và âm phủ bị quăng xuống hồ lửa. Vào hồ lửa là chết lần thứ hai.

15Người nào không có tên trong Sách Sự Sống phải bị quăng xuống hồ lửa.

1And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and a great chain in his hand.

2And he laid hold on the dragon the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

3And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should no more seduce the nations, till the thousand years be finished. And after that, he must be loosed a little time.

4And I saw seats; and they sat upon them; and judgment was given unto them; and the souls of them that were beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not adored the beast nor his image, nor received his character on their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5The rest of the dead lived not, till the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. In these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ; and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7And when the thousand years shall be finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go forth, and seduce the nations, which are over the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, and shall gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

8And they came upon the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city.

9And there came down fire from God out of heaven, and devoured them; and the devil, who seduced them, was cast into the pool of fire and brimstone, where both the beast

10And the false prophet shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11And I saw a great white throne, and one sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away, and there was no place found for them.

12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in the presence of the throne, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and hell gave up their dead that were in them; and they were judged every one according to their works.

14And hell and death were cast into the pool of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the pool of fire.
