Zechariah

1Behold the days of the Lord shall come, and thy spoils shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2And I will gather all nations to Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken, and the houses shall be rifled, and the women shall be defiled: and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rest of the people shall not be taken away out of the city.

3Then the Lord shall go forth, and shall fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is over against Jerusalem toward the east: and the mount of Olives shall be divided in the midst thereof to the east, and to the west with a very great opening, and half of the mountain shall be separated to the north, and half thereof to the south.

5And you shall flee to the valley of those mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall be joined even to the next, and you shall flee as you fled from the face of the earthquake in the days of Ozias king of Juda: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with him.

6And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall be no light, but cold and frost.

7And there shall be one day, which is known to the Lord, not day nor night: and in the time of the evening there shall be light.

8And it shall come to pass in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem: half of them to the east sea, and half of them to the last sea: they shall be in summer and in winter.

9And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day there shall be one Lord, and his name shall be one.

10And all the land shall return even to the desert, from the hill to Remmon to the south of Jerusalem: and she shall be exalted, and shall dwell in her own place, from the gate of Benjamin even to the place of the former gate, and even to the gate of the corners: and from the tower of Hananeel even to the king’s wine-presses.

11And people shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more an anathema: but Jerusalem shall sit secure.

12And this shall be the plague where with the Lord shall strike all nations that have fought against Jerusalem: the flesh of every one shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13In that day there shall be a great tumult from the Lord among them: and a man shall take the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall be clasped upon his neighbour’s hand.

14And even Juda shall fight against Jerusalem: and the riches of all nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and garments in great abundance.

15And the destruction of the horse, and of the mule, and of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts, that shall be in those tents, shall be like this destruction.

16And all they that shall be left of all nations that came against Jerusalem, shall go up from year to year, to adore the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17And it shall come to pass, that he that shall not go up of the families of the land to Jerusalem, to adore the King, the Lord of hosts, there shall be no rain upon them.

18And if the family of Egypt go not up nor come: neither shall it be upon them, but there shall be destruction wherewith the Lord will strike all nations that will not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19This shall be the sin of Egypt, and this the sin of all nations, that will not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20In that day that which is upon the bridle of the horse shall be holy to the Lord: and the caldrons in the house of the Lord shall be as the phials before the altar.

21And every caldron in Jerusalem and Juda shall be sanctified to the Lord of hosts: and all that sacrifice shall come, and take of them, and shall seethe in them: and the merchant shall be no more in the house of the Lord of hosts in that day.

1Này đây, hỡi Giê-ru-sa-lem, sẽ đến ngày của ĐỨC CHÚA, khi người ta đem chia của cải của ngươi ở giữa ngươi.

2Ta sẽ tập hợp mọi dân tộc về Giê-ru-sa-lem để giao chiến, thành sẽ thất thủ, nhà cửa bị cướp phá, phụ nữ bị hãm hiếp ; một nửa dân thành sẽ phải đi lưu đày, nhưng số dân sót lại sẽ không bị đuổi ra khỏi thành.

3Bấy giờ, ĐỨC CHÚA sẽ tiến ra và chiến đấu đánh lại các dân tộc ấy như ngày Người chiến đấu trong thời giao tranh.

4Ngày ấy, Người sẽ dừng chân trên núi Ô-liu, đối diện với Giê-ru-sa-lem về phía đông. Núi Ô-liu sẽ chẻ ra ở giữa, từ đông sang tây, làm thành một thung lũng rộng lớn ; một nửa quả núi sẽ lui về phía bắc và một nửa về phía nam.

5Các ngươi sẽ chạy trốn qua thung lũng giữa các núi của Ta, vì thung lũng giữa các núi chạy dài tới A-xan. Các ngươi sẽ trốn thoát như đã trốn thoát cơn động đất thời Út-di-gia làm vua nước Giu-đa. Rồi ĐỨC CHÚA, Thiên Chúa của tôi, sẽ đến, cùng với toàn thể các thánh của Người.

6Ngày ấy, sẽ chẳng có ánh sáng, nhưng chỉ có lạnh lẽo và giá buốt.

7Sẽ chỉ còn là một ngày độc nhất –duy một ĐỨC CHÚA biết– không còn phân biệt ngày với đêm, ngay lúc hoàng hôn vẫn có ánh sáng.

8Ngày ấy, nước mạch sẽ chảy ra từ Giê-ru-sa-lem ; một nửa chảy ra Biển Đông, một nửa chảy ra Biển Tây : sẽ xảy ra như vậy trong cả mùa đông lẫn mùa hè.

9Bấy giờ, ĐỨC CHÚA sẽ là vua cai trị toàn cõi đất ; ngày ấy, ĐỨC CHÚA sẽ là Đức Chúa duy nhất và Danh Người là Danh duy nhất.

10Tất cả xứ sẽ nên như đồng bằng, từ Ghe-va tới Rim-môn, phía nam Giê-ru-sa-lem. Giê-ru-sa-lem sẽ được nhắc lên cao và ở nguyên tại chỗ, từ cổng Ben-gia-min cho đến tận cổng Xưa, đến tận cổng Góc, và từ tháp Kha-nan-ên cho đến tận bồn ép nho của nhà vua.

11Người ta sẽ cư ngụ tại đó, sẽ không còn án tru hiến nữa và Giê-ru-sa-lem sẽ được sống yên hàn.

12Và đây sẽ là tai ương ĐỨC CHÚA giáng xuống mọi dân nước đã dấy binh chống lại Giê-ru-sa-lem. Người sẽ làm cho thịt chúng rữa ra ngay khi chúng còn đang đứng vững ; mắt chúng sẽ rữa trong hốc mắt và lưỡi chúng sẽ rữa trong miệng.

13Ngày ấy ĐỨC CHÚA sẽ gây ra giữa chúng một nỗi hoảng sợ lớn lao ; người này sẽ túm lấy tay người kia và giơ tay đe doạ lẫn nhau.

14Cả Giu-đa cũng sẽ đến Giê-ru-sa-lem để chiến đấu, và sẽ thu lấy tài sản của mọi dân tộc chung quanh : vàng, bạc và vô số y phục.

15Ngựa, la, lạc đà, lừa và mọi súc vật trong các trại cũng sẽ gặp phải một tai ương giống như tai ương kia.

16Sau đó, mọi người còn sót lại từ mọi dân tộc đã tiến đánh Giê-ru-sa-lem, hằng năm sẽ lên thờ lạy Đức Vua, tức là ĐỨC CHÚA các đạo binh, và mừng lễ Lều.

17Thị tộc nào trong các thị tộc trên cõi đất không lên Giê-ru-sa-lem thờ lạy Đức Vua, tức là ĐỨC CHÚA các đạo binh, thì sẽ không có mưa cho chúng.

18Nếu thị tộc Ai-cập không lên và không đến thì nó sẽ phải chuốc lấy tai ương mà ĐỨC CHÚA đã giáng xuống các dân tộc không lên mừng lễ Lều.

19Đó sẽ là án phạt dành cho Ai-cập và án phạt dành cho mọi dân tộc không lên mừng lễ Lều.

20Ngày ấy trên lục lạc ngựa sẽ có ghi : “Thánh hiến cho ĐỨC CHÚA” và các nồi niêu trong Nhà ĐỨC CHÚA sẽ được xem như những chiếc bình rảy ở trước bàn thờ.

21Mọi nồi niêu ở Giê-ru-sa-lem và ở Giu-đa sẽ được thánh hiến cho ĐỨC CHÚA các đạo binh. Tất cả những người dâng hy lễ sẽ đến lấy những nồi niêu đó mà nấu nướng. Ngày ấy, sẽ không còn lái buôn trong Nhà ĐỨC CHÚA các đạo binh nữa.
