Psalms

A Psalm of David.

1I will give thee thanks with my whole heart: Before the gods will I sing praises unto thee.

2I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

3In the day that I called thou answeredst me, Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.

4All the kings of the earth shall give thee thanks, O Jehovah, For they have heard the words of thy mouth.

5Yea, they shall sing of the ways of Jehovah; For great is the glory of Jehovah.

6For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; But the haughty he knoweth from afar.

7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, And thy right hand will save me.

8Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

1Tôi sẽ hết lòng cảm tạ Chúa, Hát ngợi khen Chúa trước mặt các thần.

2Tôi sẽ thờ lạy hướng về đền thánh của Chúa, Cảm tạ danh Chúa vì sự nhân từ và sự chân thật của Chúa; Vì Chúa đã làm cho lời Chúa được tôn cao Hơn cả danh thinh Chúa.

3Trong ngày tôi kêu cầu, Chúa đáp lại, Giục lòng tôi mạnh mẽ.

4Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, các vua thế gian sẽ cảm tạ Ngài, Vì họ đã nghe những lời của miệng Ngài.

5Phải, họ sẽ hát xướng về đường lối Đức Giê-hô-va, Vì vinh hiển Đức Giê-hô-va là lớn thay.

6Dầu Đức Giê-hô-va cao cả, thì cũng đoái đến những người hèn hạ; Còn kẻ kiêu ngạo, Ngài nhận biết từ xa.

7Dẫu tôi đi giữa gian truân, Chúa sẽ làm cho tôi được sống, Giơ tay Chúa ra chống trả cơn giận của kẻ thù nghịch tôi, Và tay hữu Chúa sẽ cứu tôi.

8Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ làm xong việc thuộc về tôi. Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, sự nhân từ Ngài còn đến đời đời; Xin chớ bỏ công việc của tay Ngài.
