Psalms

1Don’t fret because of evildoers,neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.

2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,and wither like the green herb.

3Trust in the LORD, and do good.Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.

4Also delight yourself in the LORD,and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5Commit your way to the LORD.Trust also in him, and he will do this:

6he will make your righteousness shine out like light,and your justice as the noon day sun.

7Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him.Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.

8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath.Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing.

9For evildoers shall be cut off,but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.

10For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more.Yes, though you look for his place, he isn’t there.

11But the humble shall inherit the land,and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12The wicked plots against the just,and gnashes at him with his teeth.

13The Lord will laugh at him,for he sees that his day is coming.

14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow,to cast down the poor and needy, to kill those who are upright on the path.

15Their sword shall enter into their own heart.Their bows shall be broken.

16Better is a little that the righteous has,than the abundance of many wicked.

17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,but the LORD upholds the righteous.

18The LORD knows the days of the perfect.Their inheritance shall be forever.

19They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil.In the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20But the wicked shall perish.The enemies of the LORD shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish— vanish like smoke.

21The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back,but the righteous give generously.

22For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land.Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.

23A man’s steps are established by the LORD.He delights in his way.

24Though he stumble, he shall not fall,for the LORD holds him up with his hand.

25I have been young, and now am old,yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

26All day long he deals graciously, and lends.His offspring is blessed.

27Depart from evil, and do good.Live securely forever.

28For the LORD loves justice,and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

29The righteous shall inherit the land,and live in it forever.

30The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom.His tongue speaks justice.

31The law of his God is in his heart.None of his steps shall slide.

32The wicked watch the righteous,and seek to kill him.

33The LORD will not leave him in his hand,nor condemn him when he is judged.

34Wait for the LORD, and keep his way,and he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

35I have seen the wicked in great power,spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.

36But he passed away, and behold, he was not.Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37Mark the perfect man, and see the upright,for there is a future for the man of peace.

38As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together.The future of the wicked shall be cut off.

39But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD.He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.

40The LORD helps them and rescues them.He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.

1Đừng bực tức vì người bất lươnghay ghen tị người làm điều phi pháp.

2Vì họ sẽ như cỏ héo úa.Và tàn tạ như cỏ xanh bị cắt.

3Hãy tin cậy Chúa Hằng Hữu và làm điều thiện.Hãy ở trong xứ và vui hưởng cỏ xanh yên lành.

4Hãy vui thỏa trong Chúa Hằng Hữu,Ngài sẽ cho ngươi điều ước mơ.

5Hãy giao phó mọi việc cho Chúa Hằng Hữu.Hết lòng tin cậy Ngài, Ngài sẽ giúp đỡ ngươi.

6Ngài sẽ khiến sự công chính ngươi tỏa sáng như rạng đông,và công lý ngươi chiếu sáng như ban trưa.

7Hãy yên lặng trước Chúa Hằng Hữu,và bền lòng chờ đợi Ngài.Đừng bực bội vì người ác thành công,khi họ thực hiện mưu sâu kế độc.

8Hãy kìm hãm cơn nóng nảy!Hãy xoay khỏi cơn giận cuồng!Đừng để mất sự bình tĩnh—vì nó dẫn con vào điều ác!

9Vì người ác rồi sẽ bị diệt vong,còn ai trông chờ Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ hưởng được đất.

10Chẳng bao lâu, người ác sẽ biến mất.Dù muốn tìm, cũng chẳng bao giờ thấy.

11Nhưng người khiêm nhu sẽ thừa hưởng đất đaivà sẽ sống trong cảnh thái bình.

12Người ác âm mưu hại người tin kính;họ giận dữ nghiến răng với người.

13Nhưng Chúa cười nhạo chúng,vì Ngài biết ngày tàn chúng đã gần.

14Người ác tuốt gươm và giương cungđể hại người nghèo thiếu và cùng khốn, và giết người làm điều ngay thẳng.

15Nhưng gươm sẽ đâm ngược vào tim họ,và cung tên họ cũng sẽ gãy tan.

16Chút đỉnh tài vật của người tin kính,còn quý hơn của cải dư dật của nhiều người ác.

17Vì tay người ác sẽ gãy nát,nhưng Chúa Hằng Hữu nâng đỡ người hiền lương.

18Chúa Hằng Hữu biết số ngày người thiện lành,Ngài cho họ cơ nghiệp vĩnh cửu.

19Trong ngày tai họa họ không héo hắt;giữa nạn đói kém vẫn no đủ.

20Nhưng người ác sẽ hư mất.Những kẻ thù của Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ như hoa ngoài đồng— chúng sẽ tàn rụi và tan như mây khói.

21Người ác mượn mà không bao giờ trả,nhưng người tin kính rộng lòng cho không.

22Ai được Chúa Hằng Hữu ban phước sẽ thừa hưởng đất đai;Còn Ngài nguyền rủa ai thì nấy họ sẽ bị tiêu diệt.

23Chúa Hằng Hữu xếp đặt bước đi của người tin kính,Ngài ưa thích đường lối người.

24Dù vấp chân, họ cũng không té ngã,vì có Chúa Hằng Hữu giữ họ trong tay.

25Trước kia tôi còn trẻ, nay đến tuổi già.Tôi chưa thấy Chúa bỏ rơi người công chính hoặc để con cháu họ đi ăn mày.

26Họ luôn luôn rộng rãi cho vay,dòng dõi họ hưởng đầy ơn phước.

27Người bỏ điều ác và làm điều lành,thì sẽ sống trên đất mãi mãi.

28Vì Chúa Hằng Hữu yêu công lý,nên sẽ không từ bỏ người thánh của Ngài. Chúa sẽ bảo vệ họ luôn luôn,còn dòng dõi người ác bị diệt vong.

29Người tin kính sẽ thừa hưởng đất đai,và sống tại đó mãi mãi.

30Người tin kính nói lời khôn ngoan;miệng lưỡi luôn thật thà đoan chính,

31Người gìn giữ luật pháp Đức Chúa Trời trong lòng,sẽ bước đi vững vàng.

32Những người ác rình rập đợi chờ,tìm phương giết người công chính,

33Nhưng Chúa Hằng Hữu không để họ được thành công,cũng không để người bị kết tội khi bị đem ra xét xử.

34Hãy chờ đợi Chúa Hằng Hữu.Vâng giữ đường lối Ngài,Ngài sẽ nhắc ngươi lên, cho ngươi thừa hưởng đất đai,ngươi sẽ thấy người ác bị hủy diệt.

35Ta đã chứng kiến người độc ác, bạo tànthịnh vượng như cây xanh tươi trong đất tốt

36Nhưng chẳng bao lâu qua đi, không còn nữa!Ta tìm kiếm, nhưng chẳng thấy họ đâu!

37Hãy nhìn người thiện hảo và ngay lành,cuộc đời họ kết thúc trong bình an.

38Còn người phạm tội ác cùng nhau bị diệt;họ đâu còn con cháu, tương lai.

39Chúa Hằng Hữu cứu người tin kính;Ngài là nơi ẩn trú lúc gian nan.

40Chúa Hằng Hữu đưa tay cứu giúp,giải thoát họ khỏi phường ác gian.Chúa cứu họ,vì họ nương náu nơi Ngài.
