(Thơ của A-sáp)

1Đức Chúa Trời chủ trì trong hội đồng của Ngài;Ngài tuyên phán trên thiên đàng:

2“Các ngươi phân xử bất côngvà thiên vị người gian tà mãi đến bao giờ?

3Hãy xử công minh cho những người cô thế và trẻ mồ côi;bảo vệ quyền lợi người bị áp bức và tuyệt vọng.

4Giải cứu người nghèo khổ và khốn cùng;đưa họ ra khỏi tay người ác.

5Nhưng bọn áp bức không biết gì,cũng chẳng hiểu gì!Chúng cứ mò mẫm trong bóng tối,tất cả nền móng trên đất đều rúng động.

6Ta xác nhận: ‘Các ngươi là thần;Tất cả đều là con trai của Đấng Chí Cao.’

7Nhưng các ngươi sẽ chết như người phàm,và ngã xuống như những người cầm quyền khác.”

8Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin vùng dậy xét xử thế gian,vì tất cả các dân tộc đều thuộc về Chúa.

A Psalm by Asaph.

1God presides in the great assembly.He judges among the gods.

2“How long will you judge unjustly,and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.

3“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless.Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

4Rescue the weak and needy.Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

5They don’t know, neither do they understand.They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6I said, “You are gods,all of you are sons of the Most High.

7Nevertheless you shall die like men,and fall like one of the rulers.”

8Arise, God, judge the earth,for you inherit all of the nations.
