Chúa Sống Lại

1Chiều thứ Bảy, nhằm ngày Sa-bát kết thúc, Ma-ri Ma-đơ-len, Ma-ri, mẹ Gia-cơ, và Sa-lô-mê đi mua hương liệu ướp xác Chúa Giê-xu.

2Sáng sớm Chúa Nhật,lúc mặt trời mới mọc, họ rủ nhau đi thăm mộ,

3dọc đường băn khoăn không biết phải nhờ ai lăn tảng đá khỏi cửa mộ.

4Nhưng khi đến nơi, thì tảng đá lớn đã được lăn đi rồi.

5Khi bước vào trong mộ, họ thấy một thanh niên mặc áo trắng ngồi bên phải, họ giật mình hoảng sợ.

6Thanh niên nói: “Đừng sợ! Tôi biết các bà tìm Chúa Giê-xu ở Na-xa-rét. Ngài chịu đóng đinh nhưng đã sống lại rồi, không còn ở đây đâu! Hãy xem chỗ người ta đặt xác Ngài,

7và đi báo cho các môn đệ Ngài và cho Phi-e-rơ biết Chúa đi trước lên xứ Ga-li-lê để gặp họ, đúng như Ngài đã phán dặn.”

8Các bà run rẩy, sợ hãi chạy ra và trốn khỏi mộ. Họ sợ hãi đến nỗi không nói gì được với ai.

Cuối của Sách Mác

9Sau khi sống lại sáng sớm Chúa Nhật, Chúa Giê-xu hiện ra trước nhất cho Ma-ri Ma-đơ-len, người được Ngài giải thoát khỏi bảy quỷ dữ.

10Ma-ri liền đi báo tin cho các môn đệ trong lúc họ than khóc Ngài.

11Nghe nói Chúa Giê-xu sống lạivà Ma-ri đã thấy Ngài, các môn đệ đều không tin.

12Sau đó, Chúa lấy hình dạng khác hiện ra cho hai môn đệ đang trên đường về quê.

13Hai người ấy liền quay lại Giê-ru-sa-lem thuật cho các môn đệ khác, nhưng cũng chẳng ai tin.

14Về sau, Chúa hiện ra cho mười một sứ đồ giữa một bữa ăn. Ngài quở trách họ đã hoài nghi, cứng lòng không tin lời những người gặp Ngài sống lại.

15Chúa phán các môn đệ: “Hãy đi khắp thế giới, công bố Phúc Âm cho cả nhân loại.

16Ai tin và chịu báp-tem sẽ được cứu, còn ai không tin sẽ bị kết tội.

17Người tin Ta sẽ thực hiện những phép lạ này: Nhân danh Ta đuổi quỷ, nói những ngôn ngữ mới,

18bắt rắn trong tay hay uống phải thuốc độc cũng không bị hại, đặt tay trên các người bệnh thì họ được lành.”

19Phán dặn các môn đệ xong, Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu được tiếp rước lên trời, ngồi bên phải ngai Đức Chúa Trời.

20Các môn đệ đi khắp nơi công bố Phúc Âm. Chúa cùng làm việc với các môn đệ, xác nhận lời họ truyền giảng bằng nhiều phép lạ.

The Resurrection

1When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so they could go and anoint the body of Jesus.

2Very early on the first day of the week,just after sunrise, they went to the tomb.

3They were asking one another, “Who will roll away the stone from the entrance of the tomb?”

4But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, even though it was extremely large.

5When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

6But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here! See the place where they put Him.

7But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.’”

8So the women left the tomb and ran away, trembling and bewildered. And in their fear they did not say a word to anyone.

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

9Early on the first day of the week, after Jesus had risen,He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had driven out seven demons.

10She went and told those who had been with Him, who were mourning and weeping.

11And when they heard that Jesus was alive and she had seen Him, they did not believe it.

Jesus Appears to Two Disciples

12After this, Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them as they walked along in the country.

13And they went back and reported it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.

The Great Commission

14Later, as they were eating, Jesus appeared to the Eleven and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

15And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

18they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.”

The Ascension

19After the Lord Jesushad spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

20And they went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked through them, confirming His word by the signs that accompanied it.
